Waterfall braid:
It might look complicated, but it takes under ten minutes to get this hairstyle done. If you can French plait your hair, you can waterfall them with equal ease. They are perfect for Sunday brunches, beach weddings and even a friend’s baby shower. No-fuss and elegant, this hairdo will set you apart from the rest for sure. The trick is to begin plaiting your hair from the top of your head so that the cascading effect is created. Gather a bunch of hair from the top and divide it into three sections. Now French plait this bunch across your head till you reach the middle where you can drop the bunch and pick a new bunch of hair to create a rippling effect. Continue the process till you get that cascading look. You can secure the ends with a clear elastic or even bobby pins.

Twisted waves:

One of the easiest hairstyles ever, the twisted waves can be made in about five minutes. All you need is a hair straighter to create faux waves in your hair, before you twist them into bunches. Simply spray a generous amount of hairspray on the bunches and secure them with a fancy clip or a clear band. Spray stay-on gel and a bit of dry shampoo to create the misty and princess-y look.

Romantic spirals:

Very vintage and very, very Valentine Day-esque, this spiral hairstyle will make you the centre of attraction wherever you go. It may be a tad complicated, but it’s definitely worth the efforts. Section off your hair into four bunches and grab each bunch into a roller. Spray on a long-lasting hairspray while the hair is rolled up and gently remove the roller to create a spiral. Pin up the spiral at the centre of your head and continue with the rest of the bunches. Spray on more hairspray and dust your hair with gold/copper shiny powder to give your spirals a better definition. (Light-haired women should opt for gold, while dark-haired ladies should go for copper).

Plain Jane:

If you’re not in the mood for anything fancy, try this classic half and half. Neatly brush out your hair and take a bunch of hair from both sides of your head. Run a comb through the bunches before twisting them together to form a knot. The trick is to use your hair as the rubber band. Now spray on some dry shampoo and wetting gel to create a messy look.

The high low:

This one is an edgy hairdo that most people love. All you have to do is gather a massive chunk of your hair and low braid them/make a bun with messy strands popping out here and there. Now secure this bunch with a rubber band and clip-ons. Brush out the rest of the hair and spray on some hairspray…yes, you’re set to rock and roll!
