India will be playing their first group league match of the T20 World Cup against Pakistan on Friday but the Men In Blue are not in rich vein of form. Even though the likes of Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh have stabilised the middle order, Dhoni’s men are still ‘not favourites’ to land the trophy. So, here’s are opinion on what positives can ‘Mahi’ can take in this wake of the hour:

Play Rohit Sharma in the middle-order
Mumbai batsman, Rohit Sharma is still struggling for runs at top of the order. Even though he is preferred at opening slot with Shikhar Dhawan, the runs are hard to come by for Sharma. Rohit can add more leverage to the squad if he can come down the order and give Dhoni more ‘selection headaches’.

Virat Kohli’s bat is doing the talk!
When MS Dhoni was away from the team (Asia Cup), Virat Kohli did a fair job as his deputy. Plus, he added runs with the bat too and showed that he can handle pressure in tough situations. With Dhoni now back in the team, Kohli can unleash is wrath of scoring runs and this will please the Indian skipper.

Yuvraj Singh, the Master of T20
The southpaw who had been away from the limited overs side, returns to the shorter format of the game. Yuvraj Singh who has been India’s T20 specialist off late, did score a breezy 33 in the 1st warm-up game against Sri Lanka. The 6 sixes still remain the biggest highlight of his T20 career and can still prove handy in critical situations.

Suresh Raina can come on good
Prior to the T20 World Cup, Suresh Raina talked about his conversation with former India skipper Sourav Ganguly. The Chennai Super Kings star got to know few tips from Sourav Ganguly and hopefully, the southpaw can put them to use in the T20 World Cup.

Team India may not be touted as ‘favourites’ by many pundits and cricket analysts but if they play according to their game, the Men In Blue can surprise many. MS Dhoni is a master in all formats and surely, he can chart out a plan for his young men to achieve success in this tourney.
