After a day of expected results on Day 1, here’s a preview on what’s in store on Day 2 at Flushing Meadows. Serena & Venus Williams, Na Li, Radwanska, Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer are all through to second round at the US Open. Serena demolished Schiavone 6-0 6-1 while as expected the match between Ivan Dodig and Fernando Verdasco was a tough one, Dodig prevailed over Verdasco in 5 set marathon.
