I am glad you are lesson not a mistake I finally gathered courage to tell this to my fiancé through an open letter after a month when we called of the engagement and wedding.

Yes my engagement is called off and no I am not sad about this in fact I and my family are glad we have taken this bold step. It’s not easy to call of an engagement just 2 months before wedding especially when you develop feeling for the guy.  I also had feelings for him though I met him just 8 months back at a wedding my Bhua initiated this rishta and for good 5 days we were together in the wedding and I had 5 days to say yes or no. My dad gave me 5 days he said you can spend time with him move around and figure out if he is your “Mr Perfect”.

But one question to the society when a guy knows there are people observing him it’s easy to manipulate and be fake.

So, according to me the entire rishta system is incorrect how can you judge a person may be he is just acting which happened in my case.  In 5 days he acted like the best son, best brother, best friend, etc, and won my heart. I said yes, obliviously he was handsome and what I saw in 5 days was only good things about him because he showed me good things.

Things happened very fast in a week I got engaged and post engagement he started getting physical to me I was not comfortable I said no I need time he forced but thankfully I never said yes. Whenever we met he tried to get intimate though he knew I was uncomfortable he asked me to send nude pictures, used to speak dirty, and used to get angry when I refused to send him such pictures.

One night I went to party of my friend’s friend and there I got the shock of my life he was making out with a girl in one corner of the garden.

He didn’t know I was attending this party; somehow I managed to take pictures of him with other girl. I told this to my cousin and from next day I asked him to keep an eye on my fiancé to my surprise this fellow was an s** addict and drug addict he went around with new girls every night. When I gathered many proofs I showed to my parents they were in shock they immediately called his parents and him too. We showed them pictures and he said they were just friends and his dad said he will change after marriage.

My dad was in no mood to listen to this crap and he immediately called off engagement just 2 months before wedding. 

This rascal has ruined my faith in men and marriages. He never loved me he wanted a new s** toy that is it

Dear society please support your girl like my dad did he saved me from making biggest mistake in life.

Parents Please stop backing your sons mistakes and please stop saying “shadi kae bad sudhar jayega” We are not here to experiment with your son and we are not teachers to teach him life lessons when you couldn’t!

Drashti Dhami: Remember her guys?

Well, yeah she is the same actress who did two super hit TV shows as the lead actress and then went on to do a dance show and finally ended up hosting the same show before getting a kick on her ass from the same show in which she was adjudged the winner!

Quite a happening career, isn’t it?

Well, seldom such celebrities come across who are more in the news for their off-screen acts rather than on-screen performances or talent. Drashti is definitely one of them.

No doubt she did win the hearts of audiences with her show Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi and then with Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. She garnered a massive fan following which helped her in winning the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Ja. However, all this while she was in the news for either being a big tantrum queen on the sets or being linked up with her co-actors or causing abmarital rift in her co-star’s lives. Of course she denied it all, but it didn’t help the matter when she was thrown out of Jhalak Dikhla Ja for being one of the most boring and un-interesting hosts ever! That was the time which kind of sounded like the rock bottom in her career. And it’s been a while that she is seen in any new show on TV.

But the good news is that she is back in news and like how! Everyone is covering the news of her impending marriage to Neeraj Khemka whom she was dating for a long time, but kept denying it from the rooftops! Wondering why she did that if ultimately she had to settle down with the same fellow.

Anyways, the good thing about it is that finally she has chosen the role of a housewife for herself which is kind of justified as well. After being in the limelight for so long and doing various roles, it must have become obvious to her that she has a limited shelf life as an actor due to her limited acting abilities and practically zero improvisation skills (best example is her failure as a TV host which requires on the spot improvisation according to the situation!!). Given the influx of younger, more beautiful and much more talented actresses in the TV fiction space, it will be very difficult for her to get another show as a lead actress. And for sure she won’t do character roles just for the heck of it, right?

So in a way it is good that we as audience won’t have to bear her presence due to her pseudo-celebrity status and she won’t have to do projects which she feels are not doing justice to her (non-existing) talent!

For now, we would just like to wish her a very happy and love-filled married life! Live and let live!

Did any of us know about Shreya Ghoshal’s beau before she planned to get married to him a day ago?

I bet no. Well, a private ceremony that had been guarded well (we guess to ensure only close relatives and friends are a part of the wedding) took place on the night of February 5^th that marked the beginning of a new life for the 30-year old popular songstress, Shreya Ghoshal and her childhood love, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya.

Ghoshal’s singing journey in Bollywood started from the ‘oh so famous’ movie, Devdas starring Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit. How can we forget that she won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer as well as the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer along with Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent?

Since then her playback career has always seen a surge, her recent track being in Tollywood playback called Panga for Herogiri, featuring Dev, Koel and Sayantika. She is also the proud winner of Filmfare awards for her music in movies, Jism, Guru and Singh is Kinng.

The melodious Indian singer has had a humble start in her singing career as a child when she sang in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show and won the same show as an adult. She was also called as a Chief Guest in the show when she had established herself in the Indian singing industry. She was also hugely honoured from the US State of Ohio and the governor Ted Strickland who publicly declared June 26 to be commemorated as “Shreya Ghoshal Day”.

The Bengali voice’s songs in other Indian languages, viz. Assamese, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Oriya, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam and Kannada  has also had remarkable success. Her talent to know and sing in so many Indian languages itself speaks volumes on not only the rich diversity of the country but also about her versatility as a singer!

However, the singing sensation, Shreya Ghoshal married to Shiladitya Mukhopadhyay the traditional Bengali way with sandalwood and kumkum designs on her forehead and vermillion (sindoor) donning her maang and a rich red saree partially covering her head.

Though Ghoshal tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart in the presence of her family and close friends, she did ask for the wishes of her fans on social micro-blogging site Twitter and gave a hint on her marriage earlier on the D-Day:
