<p>When you are standing behind an old Indian temple, you will be shouted out the anecdotes of history by the lifeless walls themselves for they are full of life but we need to have the right pair of eyes to see it. However, Indians are somewhat religious fanatics and the heightened fanaticism dampens the majesties of architectural delights.</p>
<p>Also, where there is belief, there is fear and in archaic times, deities were worshipped and offered gifts through myriad rituals in order to safeguard the lives and properties from the natural vagaries. As per Hindu mythology, there are 33 million gods and goddesses after whom temples have been raised too. The shocker of facts is, non-living creatures and even animals too are worshipped in the same stature as gods in India.</p>
<p>However, we will name a few Bizarre Indian Temples and their bizarre rituals in India that will surely make you roll your eyes in surprise:</p>
<p>Bizarre Indian Temples &#8211;</p>
<p><strong>1 &#8211; Sonia Gandhi temple, Telengana:</strong></p>
<p>In view of her popularity, Sonia Gandhi temple was raised by some followers of hers in the separated state of Telengana. In this temple, there is a stone idol of Sonia Gandhi posing as a goddess with lotus in one hand and a plate full of rice in another.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone wp-image-65754" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/1-1-660x354.jpg" alt="" width="598" height="321" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/1-1-660x354.jpg 660w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/1-1-768x412.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/1-1-1000x537.jpg 1000w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/1-1.jpg 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px" /></p>
<p><strong>2 &#8211; Bullet Baba Temple, Rajasthan:</strong></p>
<p>People worship the <a href="https://www.youngisthan.in/opinions/mysterious-temples-in-india/53508">motorbike of Om Singh Rathore</a> who died in a car crash for unknown reason. This might look strange to you but the villagers might have their own reason whatsoever.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone wp-image-65755" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/2-1-533x400.jpg" alt="" width="596" height="447" srcset="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/2-1-533x400.jpg 533w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/2-1-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/2-1-800x600.jpg 800w, https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/2-1.jpg 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 596px) 100vw, 596px" /></p>

<p><strong>5 &#8211; Aeroplane Gurdwara, Jalandhar:</strong></p>

<p><strong>7 &#8211; Karni Mata Temple, Rajasthan:</strong></p>
<p>This temple is otherwise known as the Rat temple where there are at least 20,000 rats looming around. Creepy but true!</p>
