It is the highest peak that is popular worldwide for its extension throughout wide ranges. The beauty and importance of the Himalayas have been a boon to nature and its people. But the discovery of another humongous mountain in Australia has no longer put the Himalayas to the top. Nuna Super mountains of Australia are about three times greater than the Himalayas.

The formation of the mountains has taken place about 500 million earlier. According to scientists the creation of the mountain has taken place with the Gondwana continent.

How did the Nuna Super Mountains work with nature?

The growth of the super-mountain has helped in increasing the oxygen level of the atmosphere. The birth of various plants and small animals has led to changes in nature. Various organisms, radiation, and other factors have led to the erosion of the super mountains.

On other hand, Himalayas ’ glacier is also melting every year. So Mount Everest is also suffering due to pollution. There have been reports by scientists that the highest mountain may meltdown in the next thousands of years.

The Nuna super mountains stretched to over 4,500 miles which have now diversified the attention from the Himalayas. The existence of masses was about 1.8 million years back sharing the parts of South America, Africa, and Australia. Masses of the huge area were the tallest and can be considered to challenge the size of the Himalayas.

In the present times while measuring it has been discovered that the Nuna, remains shown as three times greater in size. Apart from it, there are a few huge size mountains but they did not build to the heights of the Nuna super mountains.

The Himalayas are more popular than Nuna

Both the mountains are undergoing different phases of damages of melting and erosions. Still, in modern times the Himalayas are considered the tallest. The glaciers feed the rivers and oceans with water. But the frozen temperature does not allow it to be the habitable area for humans and animals.

The importance of the Himalayas has been never reducing with the ranges covered with ice and forests. On contrary, the Nuna super mountains erosion has been taking place over years is now just 1500 miles approx. The existence of the masses and the presence of the millions of years old fossils mentions the age of the soil.

Himalaya is a boon to the habitats and the settlements on the ranges. It enables people not only to enjoy the beauty of nature but the water is also provided by the mountains. On contrary, the Nuna Super mountain turns out to be dry between February to May. There is a shortage of water which does not allow the growth of plants and trees.

Mount Everest can touch the clouds. Clouds can float throughout with the peeping views of the sunset. Three times large mountains have been reduced due to carbon production. Increased carbon production has led to damages to the soil and organisms causing a reduction in the size of the Nuna Super mountains.

One of the oldest lakes located in Uttarakhand, the depth of the Lake is more than 5000 meters. There is the thought in mind that the skeletons are visible around the year. Then it is not true as the snow-covered skeletons are seen when the lake is frozen into ice.

Skulls and skeletons are seen piled it was first seen by a soldier in 1942. The skeletons were stockpiled around the snowy land of the Roopkund lakes as well as inside the lake. The snow-covered skulls stand as a mystery even after several decades from 1942.

Lake made of Snow melts clear the visuals of dead skeletons

Many incidents justify the many remaining dead bodies even after hundreds of years. The place remains filled with snow but at times the snow melts to water and the remaining are visible.

Many researchers have been carried out their research to learn about the thousands of skeletons buried under the snow in this remote place, Roopkund Lake in the Himalayas. The arms, iron spearheads, and leather shoes are still seen deep in the water. The skeletons may be the remaining soldiers. It may be of any wartime about hundreds of years old, while researches have also mentioned about the fleshes remaining of 2003. It was the dead bodies of 30 people fleshes that are present with the rest.

The research carried out by the Anthropological Survey of India mentions that the skeletons were of dead bodies who suffered death due to hailstorms.

RoopKund Lake as the mysterious Frozen skeleton

Over years the Lake has still been covered with mystery. People cannot trek in this part of Uttarakhand, as trekking has been banned. The best time to trek through this area is during the autumn. But now this area is no longer allowed for the tourists to travel this area. Tourists are believed to remove the skeletons leading to the reduction of the remaining deep in the Lake.

The skull’s evidence proves that the bodies were not of Indians. About the lake is covered with people who share the ancestry of the Mediterranean. Non-Indians already mean that they have been tourists or travelers who traveled to the lake. Mostly they were the Europeans or the natives of eastern Mediterranean ancestry.

There may be many reasons related to the death from hundreds of years. It can be due to the hailstorms, any sickness due to the chilled weather or it can be any war that happened years ago. Altogether even after several years of research the skeletons that are now entirely covered and lake made of snow deep in remain mystery.

Roopkund the Lake holds the strange and unfolded incidents of unknown death of many people. It still holds the secret or mystery of all the skeletons deep inside the lake.

The mountain is a boon to the entire nature; it is the home of the River Ganga and Yamuna. All the rivers flowing begins from the heights of the glaciers. Himalaya Mountains increases by 2 inches each year irrespective of as much of the glaciers melts through the year.

Why the glaciers are growing?

Melting of glaciers should lead to shedding of the ices and the mountains should reduce. But the gigantic mountains are standing for centuries. The formation of the Himalaya ranges and the Tibetan Plateau is due to the massive collision of the Indian Plate and Eurasian plate. It was about 50 million years ago which separated India by the Huge Himalayan Mountain range. It separates not only as of the country but also divides the continent of Asia.

The Eurasian Plate is now above the Indian plates due to the collision. Now the crust has led to thickening of the continental crust which occurred due to the crumpling and folding. The existence of the compressional forces is still developing the thickness of the crusts below.

The thickening is resulting in the increase or swelling of the Himalayas range and the Tibetan plateau each year pushing is up. This is the reason the despite of melting of the ices of the glaciers the Himalayas is visible to the eyes from the ancient times.

Ancient books, sacred and religious books mention the stretches of the snow. This is the home of the Hindu Gods, where Lord Shiva has spent his life meditating like a yogi.

Several sages meditate years after years for enlightenment. The mountain is present for millions of years instead of eroding it is increasing to 2 inches and more.

Tethys Ocean and the Himalayas mountains

The Tethys Ocean was present during the time of the Mesozic era. Now that we can see the Indian ocean and the Atlantic ocean that is present today was just a new evolution during the era. We can see the Alps standing high was the north of Tethys Ocean. But with the formation of the Himalayas, the existence of the ancient ocean disappeared.

For about 400 million years the Paleo Tethys Ocean was present between the Gondwana and the Hunnic terranes which separated from Asia.

Effect of Ozone Layer and Himalaya Mountains

Pollution and the ozone layers have been the main issues that were affecting the mountain ranges with glaciers. Cutting of trees, air and water pollutions to the severe effects of ozone are creating problems and damaging the glaciers to melt. But according to recent studies of the Himalayan mountains are not much affected by pollutions as the height of the ranges are increasing.

For ages, the river water is flowing and it still continues to shower its blessings to the earth. The melting of glaciers is taking place on one side while the thickening of the crusts is increasing the height. Not only once but each and every year.
