Responses To Annoying Questions – There are two kinds of people –

• One who thinks that being single is a crime.
• Second one who thinks that being single is the BESTTTTT thing ever.

At times, the second ones cross path with the first ones. So (second ones) when you tell them that you’re single, they blow up with questions like “What, are you kidding me?” “Hell no, that’s not possible.” “Why are the heck are you still single?” “Do you want me to set you up with somebody?” In clear words, some people sadly cannot digest the FACT that you’re happily single. So whenever you meet these “FRIENDS” again, they always asks “So, are you committed now?”

They just don’t understand that being single doesn’t mean being unhappy.

Whether we want to commit or not is our own personal choice, agree? Something that some people will never understand. But hey, I know it gets annoying. So the next time, they come up and ask you this question, do not smile & end it. You know what, just give them a badass answer so that they know you’re clearly annoyed by the same question again & again.

• I’M DATING MYSELF

In some way, we are dating ourselves. Just tell your annoying person, that you’re happily dating the angel within you. It’s okay if the person laughs. Do it in a cold way. Tell ‘em and sip a drink with an attitude.

• I’M HAPPPPYYYY

Say it in a loud voice. In the end, it’s all about happiness, right? Tell your friend, that you’re as happy as she/he is in a relationship. So dating is not really bothering you at this moment.

• MY CAREER IS IMPORTANT

Let your friend know that you’re totally into career right now. Career is important and it deserves your attention totally. So toss the topic of career & let ‘em chill down.

• HOW’S YOUR RELATIONSHIP GOING?

If you know something about their relationship, be a badass and say, “Oh I heard your relationship is weak at this moment. Why so unhappy? If you’re lucky, the opposite person will end the topic immediately.

• MAYBE MY RIGHT PERSON IS ON THE WAY

Right person is important, right? *wink* Tell your friend, “Oh I’m happy that you found a right person.” “I hope it’s exactly the one you saw in your dreams.” *burns* Sip a drink & say “My right one is coming.”

• THE ONES I MET IN THE PAST COULDN’T HANDLE ME

Yes, you can make this up to shut them up.

• I DON’T NEED ANYONE

Do I look like I need anyone? Oh C’mon, give me a break. I don’t need anyone. Plus, it’s all about falling in love. You don’t need to find anyone. I’m happy.

• THERE’S A LOT TO ENJOY BEING SINGLE

Tell them “Oh it’s sad that your happy single days ended pretty soon” Mine are yet remaining, so… BOOM.

• I WILL CALL YOU IN MY ARRANGE MARRIAGE

This one is just perfect. Before they tell you “I’ll FIND you one.” Stop them and say “My parents are looking for a good human.”

Crush When You’re Committed – It happens, isn’t it?

You know, you end up having crush on somebody else even though you’re in a relationship. So does that mean you’re cheating? Many wants to know whether it is cheating or not. The thing is, it is okay to have a crush on someone, even when you’re happily committed to somebody else. Tinykek on Reddit says, “Crushes aren’t bad and it happens to most of us. Many of us are even able to love more than just one person. Nothing wrong about that, it’s completely natural. You are aware of your feelings and obviously care about your closed relationship. You have no reason to feel bad.”

Here’s the thing – Just because you’re in a lovely relationship, it doesn’t mean that you’ll never find a certain person attractive. I mean, no matter where you are, it is possible that you see someone & you say “Oh, this person is so, so gorgeous.” Or even in your office, you might get a crush on your colleague. It isn’t a crime. Just remember, that it’s important to set certain boundaries there.

For e.g. you’ve a crush on someone who works with you. Now you should be careful as in how to behave & how to handle that “crush thing”, so that you also respect the person you’re committed too. The thing is, while having a crush on someone, in the presence of them, you should know how NOT to take things further. IF you do, then that’s cheating.

What happens is, many people cannot stop flirting with their crush. This is completely a bad sign and you should learn to control yourself. It is obvious that you’re committed to someone because they make you happy. So spend time with them, FLIRT with them and most importantly, love them the way they deserve it.

Most importantly, you should know that a crush is just a crush. Once you cross the line, there’s danger on the opposite side & your SO will obviously get hurt, which I assume you don’t want. IF you think that you’ve developed something more for your crush, then you should talk to someone about it. IF not, then it’s okay as crushes are normal.

There are many relationships where couples admit that even though they’re together, they have crushes on other people. The best thing is, when your SO is completely aware about it. Some couples believe in talking about it with a friendly nature.
