AAP trolls Modi by trending #WillNomoAnswer

This shift in the focus of AAP is to level allegations of corruption against him. It should be noted that recently Kejriwal had released a list of politicians who, according to him and his party members, were corrupt. Modi’s name was featured in the list along with Sonia Gandhi’s after an amendment to it.

At a time when US Ambassador to India Nancy Powell has taken a U-turn and decided to meet Gujarat chief minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and the popularity of the latter is on an all-time high, the Aam Aadmi Party has decided to take the leader head on.

While chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and other leaders engaged in a press conference after ordering FIR against current petroleum minister Veerappa Moily, his predecessor Murli Deora, DG o Hydrocarbons VK Sibal, Mukesh Ambani and his Reliance Industries Limited for allegedly colluding to manipulate the prices of gas extracted from the KG-D6 basin, his followers and party members made a direct blow on Modi by tweeting several questions under the hashtag #WillNamoAnswer.

This shift in the focus of AAP is to level allegations of corruption against him. It should be noted that recently Kejriwal had released a list of politicians who, according to him and his party members, were corrupt. Modi’s name was featured in the list along with Sonia Gandhi’s after an amendment to it.

The trolling, which is now becoming a twitter war between AAP fans and NaMo supporters, was started by AAP’s senior leader Yogendra Yadav who posted five questions under the hashtag. Various AAP fans followed the trend which received answers from Modi supporters as well.

The AAP is battling a negative press after Somnath Bharti’s raid and has become a minority government in Delhi after the lone independent MLA Rambir Shokeen pulled his support from the AAP government. The limited time that the party has till the general elections is supported to be full of surprises and such wars against big politicians to help it gain ground again.

Modi too started targeting the AAP government in his rallies recently after the AAP government failed on many levels in Delhi. But whether he will answer to AAP fans is yet to be seen.

Here are some tweets to give you a peek into this twitter war:
