Mobile Phone TV Commercials That are Worth Remembering!

Mobile phone TV commercials – There is a gamut of mobile phone TV advertisements. However, only a few of these succeed in striking the right chord with the viewers.

TV commercials play a pivotal role in the success of any product.

Mobile phones are no exception. In fact, some of the brands could craft a niche in the market due to the right advertising strategy of their manufacturers.

We take a look at the best mobile phone TV commercials which have left a mark in the hearts of the viewers and people now identify the gadgets with these advertisements.

1)   Oppo:

This brand would have gone unnoticed if the manufacturers had not roped in big Bollywood names, such as Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor. This well made commercial that shows two friends unite seeing their childhood picture on the device, has struck the right chord with its viewers. The advertisement very creatively displays the 13-megapixel rotating rear camera of the Oppo N1 model, which registers well in the minds of the spectators. In short, a good commercial that uses big stars and smartly puts forward the highlight of the gadget too!

2)   Micromax:

Micromax had tried the same trick last year. They had signed Hollywood star Hugh Jackman for their TV advertisement. The commercial shows Hugh being inspired by a juggler at a circus during his childhood and now as an adult he juggles & multitasks using the Micromax Canvas Turbo. With taglines such as ‘it’s nothing like anything’ and ‘juggle many lives’ this advertisement is still considered as one of the best Micromax commercials till date.

The Twinkle Khanna starrer Micromax Q55 Bling requires a special mention too. It was among the first advertisements from the ace mobile phone manufacturer. It showed models bumping into each other due to the striking Micromax Smartphone in Twinkle’s hands!

3)   Intex:

The Intex Aqua Star commercial featuring Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar clicking pictures with his 8 MP camera is a short and sweet advertisement. The manufacturers emphasize on two main features – a powerful camera and an affordable price. The message comes across clear to the spectator and one can easily remember this commercial by associating it with Farhan.

There are a host of other advertisements that are certainly worth remembering. Some of these were hilarious, such as the Nokia 3110 Classic – the one-touch photo phone with 8 X Mega Zoom. In this advertisement a boy waits for his girlfriend and looks forward to surprise her with a bunch of roses. But, a goat chews the blossoms before she comes and a friend clicks the moment using the Nokia phone.

However, most of the advertisements which have become popular have used names of movie stars. This has prompted mobile phone brands to associate themselves with the biggest celebrities.

In short, the mantra to selling a cell phone is to get a film star to feature in the TV commercial!
