Similar to its sibling, the device offers the versatility and flexibility of four modes – Tablet, Stand, Laptop, and Desktop. Touted as a do-it-all Windows 8 tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 tablet promises to deliver a computer-like productivity experience to its customers. Design & Built
Built from premium material, the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 dons a stylish black aluminium finish and lightweight design. At 610 grams, the device measures 265.5 x 177 x 8.95 mm.
Sporting a 10-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920X1200 native resolution and 224 ppi pixel density, the device derives its power from Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core processor backed by up to 4 GB of RAM. Fortified by Corning Gorilla Glass for resisting scratches, the slate supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points. Running on Windows 8.1 with 64-bit support, the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 accessories include a Ultrabook full-sized Keyboard, a Quickshot folio cover, and a Tablet Dock with USB 3.0 ports. While the Ultrabook keyboard acts as a stand allowing folding of the slate on top of the keyboard for easy clamshell-style transport, the Tablet Dock enables users to connect the slate to an external keyboard, mouse, or display, for use as a desktop PC. A flip of the Quickshot cover exposes the 8MP camera lens and launches the appropriate app for on-the-go photography. Other optional Lenovo ThinkPad 10 features include digitizer pen for precise touch, 3G/4G LTE connectivity, TPM security, and a fingerprint scanner. Loaded with VPN access control and application deployment management, the slate also offers options for preventing users from installing prohibited apps.
The tablet offers either 64 GB or 128 GB of inbuilt storage.
The device houses a rear-end AF camera of 8MP with flash, paired with a front-facing snapper of 2 MP for 1080p video chats.
In the connectivity department, the tablet offers 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 NFC, and micro-HDMI connectivity,
