Design & Built

Donning a 7.2 mm thick aluminium body, Huawei Media Pad X1 is 103.9 mm wide and weighs merely 239 grams. The skinny metal body, thin bezels, and an all-glass front provide a luxurious feel to the tablet. 


Sporting a 7-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and pixel density of 323 ppi, this device offers 80% screen-body ratio, making it the best in its class. It derives its power from 1.6 GHz quad-core processor teamed with 2 GB of RAM and Mali-450 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean toppled with Huawei’s own Emotion UI. Other Huawei Media Pad X1 features include multi-touch, light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscape, and several others.


The tablet houses an internal memory of 16 GB with a scope of further expansion of 32 GB, using a micro SD card.


The device comes equipped with a 13 MP rear-end camera paired with a 5 MP front-facing shooter. Other fascinating camera features include Sony Exmor R Sensor, Autofocus, Back-illuminated sensor (BSI), Face detection, Burst mode, Smile detection, Geo tagging, and Panorama.
