He may be accused of fixing matches in cricket but S Sreesanth is not going to regret his ‘match made in heaven’. Reports in the media suggest that the troubled cricketer is all set to tie the knot later in 2013 with a girl from Jaipur who is also part of a royal family. The auspicious day when the ceremony will be held in Kerela at Guruvayoor Temple is announced to be December 12th.

Troubles have always been a part and parcel of former Indian seamer Sreesanth who was allegedly involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing controversy earlier this year and was sentenced a lifetime ban from playing cricket for the country. He was also jailed for the crime and served his notice in Tihar Jail earlier this year.

The name of the young woman from Jaipur is yet to be revealed, reported a news channel.  Also, it is believed that Sreesanth met his bride-to-be when he was in Jaipur while playing for India in 2006. She had reportedly gone to collect his autograph. Great fan!

During Sreesanth’s trial for the spot-fixing, the young woman reportedly kept in touch with his legal team and was aware of the progress of the case. Her family are understood to be supportive of the couple.

Her father reportedly had met the former Rajasthan Royals bowler at Tihar jail. It is believed that ever since Sreesanth was released on bail earlier this month  the couple has been in touch.
