We do a quick fashion face-off between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, who appeared together on Koffee with Karan.
Karan Johar’s popular chat show, Koffee with Karan, is not just famous for the juicy gossip it provides, but is also the place actors are pitted against each other. Be it in terms of smartness, boldness, fun factor or even fashion sense. The latest episode saw Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone share the couch with one of the most exotic actresses Priyanka Chopra. Wgile both played it safe on the show rapid fire-wise, there were many disappointments in terms of fashion. Here’s face-off…read on.
Choice of outfit:
While Priyanka kept it classy and sexy, Deepu went the professional route. We can’t say that we were overjoyed with either outfits, but PeeCee’s Amit Aggarwal striped top fared better than Deepu’s Alice+ Olivia lace top. The skirt and top combo that Piggy Chops had chosen had a far more TV-esque appeal than Ms Padukone’s press conference type top and pants with a coat.
Make-up:
PeeCee being the true diva that she is, went all out in the make-up department. From well defined eyes to a gorgeous lipstick, she had it all in place. Deepu, on the other hand, kept it nude. We are just not feeling the latter’s look, especially after she looks totally washed out in front of the Chopra babe’s avatar. Deepu should have had brighter lips, whay with rest of her outfit being so dull.
Hairdo:
Once again, PeeCee comes out on tops. We love her sleek, pulled-back pony tail with her brown streaks popping out here and there. Deepika’s messy hair isn’t much to write home about. She could have totally redeemed herself by choosing a smarter hairdo than the messy one she sported.
Accessories:
Deepika sported chunky bracelets and black nail paint and a pair of tiny earrings. And PeeCee had long earrings that were perfect for her dress, along with a belt that held her top and skirt together. We are not very big fans of the belt, but the rest of the look was bang on.
