Talking about a song sequence in Yash Raj’s next film, Kill Dil for which 600 cakes were sourced from Mumbai, Pune and Navi Mumbai. The funny situation would have led to an interesting shoot for sure.

All we know is that the three of them were surrounded by luscious lip-smacking cakes, throughout the day.
Well, we are talking about the shoot of the title song for their next movie produced by Yash Raj Films, Kill Dil! Being directed by Bunty aur Babli director, Shaad Ali, the film sounds like a fun-ride like his earlier ventures.
The song they were shooting required cakes and the whole production unit was running helter-skelter to arrange not one, not two but as many as 600 cakes! Yes, you read that right! 600 delicious-looking, heavenly for the taste-buds kind of cakes were arranged from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune. Not an easy task at all, to arrange and then shoot with them.
We bet cakes would have got more attention on the sets than the real stars. After all, care would have been taken that just no one eats them before shoot is complete or that not even a single piece is damaged due to negligence. So, were the cakes true stars on the set? The film’s star cast must have felt jealous and insecure in its presence. After all, our Bollywood actors are considered to be totally in love with themselves and are always on a limelight-hogging spree. Must have been difficult to share the limelight, attention and screen-space with such an inanimate object, the cake!
Jokes apart, this does sound like a crazy but interesting idea to shoot a song with such a bakery item. The whole aroma of sweetness around is enough to make the work-environment real pleasurable. But when it comes to pleasure, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar derive it from toning their bodies and doing heavy work outs. So they would have kept a tight lid on their taste buds but about Parineeti Chopra, hmmm! She is a hatti-katti Punjaban who loves to eat and hardly bothers about her weight. For her, it must have been a real challenge to keep her hands off the delicacies!
The movie has an interesting premise with an added support cast of funny man Govinda. He is playing a bhaiyyaji who takes two orphans, played by Ranveer and Ali, under his wings to train them to be assassins! Cool dude assassins with a sexy diva, Parineeti thrown in for glamour quotient and we will have a must-watch movie at our disposal.
The shoot is still going on and the film will release only towards the end of this year.
But no matter what happens at the box office, the cast and crew have already celebrated the success.
What else is needed to celebrate but those many cakes!
