Why do you need male actors when you have icons like Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla to carry a film solely on their shoulders.
Why do you need male actors when you have icons like Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla to carry a film solely on their shoulders. This looks like one of those films which is going to draw a great deal of whistles and hooting in single screen theatres. The dialogues are very filmi and Madhuri and Juhi have made sure they add just the right amount of spice to the way they mouth their dhamakedaar lines.
Madhuri Dixit plays the protagonist and her role is inspired by real Gulab Gang leader Sampat Pal who is a small town crusader, but her actions have inspired women throughout the world. She had also participated in Bigg Boss but made an early exit due to adjustment issues with the members of the house.
Directed by Soumik Sen, the effervescent Juhi is seen in a ‘never seen before’ avatar. Stepping into the shoes of a shrewd and wicked politician, she plays her vicious manipulative games in a subtle and sly manner. In fact I am looking forward to watch her more than Madhuri Dixit.
The makers have cashed in on the fact that there are two very strong women in the film and planned to release it on women’s day, March 7. Waiting to see Mads kick the hell out of the gundas and of course check out Juhi’s interesting avatar…
