Kolkata Knight Riders‘captain, Gautam Gambhir is having a nightmare start to the IPL season.

After being dropped from the Test and ODI squad, the KKR skipper seems to be struggling in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

The southpaw has appeared edgy right from the start of the league which has seen him register a hat-trick of ducks in the ongoing season. With the figures that read 0, 0, 0, 1 in his first four outings; Gambhir has received much sensationalism on the social networking sites. Gambhir who led KKR to IPL glory in 2012 has had three DUCKS in three matches. The IPL 2014 was dubbed as the ‘comeback tourney’ for Gambhir but unfortunately, it hasn’t gone too well for him so far.

Last week, Gambhir was dismissed by Mitchell Starc off the first delivery he faced against Royal Challengers Bangalore and straight after the dismissal, the social media (especially Twitter) was flooded with jokes and funny tweets on Gambhir’s streak of ducks.

If Gambhir had to vouch the numero uno spot with 007 James Bond, he might do so. As we take a look at his 10 favourite things, ‘Gauti’ must take notice that the things written below are just taken out for humour:

Favourite Movie – Anday

Favourite Song – Duck Duck Karne Laga

Favourite Video Game – Duck Hunt

Favourite Past Time TV Show – Duck Tales

Favourite Dish – Bombay Duck

Movies That Wish He Could Have Acted – Zero States, Zeropanti and Tu Mera Zero

Favourite Bird – Duck (As if you didn’t get the punch)

Favourite Catch Line – Sunday Ho Ya Monday, Roz Khao Anday!

Favourite Hollywood Movie – The Duck Knight

Gautam Gambhir is no doubt, a flamboyant batsman in his own right. The Delhi opener who has 2472 runs in the Indian Premier League at a strike rate of 125.92 so far, has had a torrid time in the middle. Even though Gambhir continues to receive the brunt from all round the corners, the former is known to be a fighter. Who could forget his exceptional innings of 75 in the 2007 T20 World Cup Final against Pakistan and also his 2012 IPL Title triumph too is fresh in the memories! For the time being, Gauti take this (humour) as a pinch of salt!
