Sushma Swaraj Sends Out a Strong Message for Pakistan Standing in The Chinese Soil

Indian External affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in the 16th Foreign Ministers meeting of Russia-India-China, raised the issue of February 14 Pulwama suicide attack on Indian Military vehicle that was carried out by the Pakistani terrorists where she called Pakistan a terror haven. She also added that the airstrike in Pakistan, in the wake of the terror attack, was not a military action.

“It wasn’t a military operation, no military installation were targetted. The objective was to act against terrorist infastructure of JeM to preempt another terror attack in India. India doesn’t wish to see further escalation of situation. It’ll continue to act with responsibility and restraint” –Sushma Swaraj was quoted as saying.

The airstrike was conducted on Pakistan’s Balakot to blow away the biggest training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terror outfit responsible for executing the goriest terror attack on the Indian military personnel on 14th February, 2019 in Pulwama that claimed 40 lives in total.

Minutes after the airstrike in question, Pakistan has spoken multiple lies in defence. The awful lie they said, according to Swaraj was that India is sabotaging the dialogue process.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that it was impossible for India to pursue any diplomatic talks with a nation that glorifies the killers that are causing indiscriminate bloodshed in India. It was a hard-hitting reply to Pakistan in which Sushma Swaraj said that India has made many efforts to have talks with Islamabad and the only reason they have stopped is because of Pakistan’s felony and arrogance.

According to her, “ We are accused of sabotaging the process of talks. This is a complete lie. We believe that talks are the only rational means to resolve the most complex disputes. Talks with Pakistan have began many times. If they stopped, it was only because of Pakistan’s behaviour” . She released this statement in her address to the General Debate of the 73rd session of the UN general assembly in New York.

Sushma Swaraj, on Wednesday, called the Pulwama terror attack the direct result of the “impunity and cover” provided to the Jaish-e-Muhammed by Pakistan in her meeting with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi which came a day after India successfully destroyed a major Jaish-e-Muhammed terror training camp in Pakistan.

Swaraj stated that JeM is banned by the UN and other countries. She said that this is the first meeting this year and hence an opportune time for the two sides to consider strengthening the bilateral ties.

“This is our first meeting this year. Therefore, an opportune time for us to take stock of our bilateral relations and look ahead for cooperation. The India-China relationship is an important relationship for both of our countries,” she said.

Sushma Swaraj, with a strong resolve, justified the pre-dawn airstrike in Pakistan’s Balakot.
