The grand finale of India’s Got Talent season 5 was a super grand affair. Of course there were those excruciating nail biting moments, but everyone was too busy having a gala time on the show. Bharthi was as always in her element, and Andy tried to keep up with her pace, and managed to do that to a certain extent. The glamorous Malaika made sure she raises temperatures with her hot dance performance. She shook her booty to Mashallah and enthralled the audience with those typical Arabic style moves.

Illuminating the place with their charming smiles were Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla. The two gorgeous ladies made an appearance on the show to promote their latest film Gulaab Gang. While everyone hooted for them, turned out Subhreet Kaur a.k.a the ‘one legged dancer’ was a huge admirer of the Dhak dhak actor. She requested Mads to shake a leg with her and of course Mrs Nene couldn’t refuse.

Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants Gurmeet Choudhry, Salman Yusuff Khan and Gauhar Khan were also seen at the finale, plugging their new show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Gurmeet and Subhreet dancing together on a soulful number was perhaps one of the sweetest moments on the show. This was Subhreet’s first duet performance and I am sure it’s going to be etched in her memory forever.

The surprise package on the show was Mr Amitabh Bachchan, who appeared out of nowhere, to talk good things about his latest film Bhoothnath Returns. He, along with Bhushan Kumar launched a song from the movie and Big B was seen flaunting his signature dance moves on the stage. Bharthi couldn’t stop flirting with the ol’ man, but soon she was sent into a state of awe-inspiring shock when the veteran actor mouthed his famous dialogue ‘Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein khayal aata hai’ with such amazing passion.

The judges then ceremoniously announced the top 4 contestants, pausing in bits, shrouding the situation with the much needed suspense. Ragini Makkhar and Co., Saei Jamshed, Subhreet Kaur and Beat Breakers climbed the ladder with the maximum number of votes. But waiting for the final winner was a swanky car and a cheque of Rs 50 lacs. Ragini Makkhar and Naadyou – the Kathak experts nailed it with their traditional dancing style. It was Ragini’s dream to start a dance class of her own and teach Kathak to underprivileged kids for free. Looks like it’s time for her dream to finally transform into reality. We wish her all the best for her lovely endeavors…
