Golmaal Again Trailer – FINALLY the wait is over.

Yes, Golmaal Again is back to make you laugh till tears starts FALLING down your eyes. Trust me; the movie is going to be amazing. The trailer is out and it promises to make everyone laugh. Just like the posters the trailer looks promising too and it’ll leave you with an excitement to watch the movie. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Kunal Khemmu, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and yes, to double the FUN this time, there are talented actors like Prakash Raj, Niel Nitin Mukesh and Johny Lever.

The dialogues in the movie are hilarious e.g. “The Father-Figure” dialogue will be getting FAMOUS for sure. Ajay Devgn who is in love with young Parineeti Chopra in the movie is doing his best to win her. Plus, Arshad Warsi’s dialogue on the Age-Difference “Har Ladki Na Apne Honawale Mein, Father Figure Dhundti Hai – Figure Uske Pass Hai, Father Tu Hai” – The way he said it is bound to make you laugh till you cry.

It sure has a spooky angle in the movie but that’s the Funniest thing to watch. Oh and, this time too, expect Tushar Kapoor to talk other than “OoandAh” (You know what I’m talking about). I’m not going to reveal his dialogue, you’ve to watch the trailer to find it out.

Rohit Shetty is one of the most successful Bollywood directors of the modern era. Most of his movies have earned massive profits putting him in the position where he sits today.

Nevertheless, he also cannot be forgiven for creating duds like Chennai Express and Bol Bachchan. These two films pissed off a certain section of the audience massively.

If recent news is anything to go by, Rohit Shetty has bought the rights to the 1989 film Ram Lakhan. Shetty is renowned for being one of the pranksters in Bollywood leading people into thinking if this remake news could be one of his pranks…but this is serious and might come to pass.

This is certainly a terrible headache for the classic movie-loving audience, the credit going to Shetty’s recent films that were not too critically successful.

Now, the director is known for his trademark which is blowing stuff up, especially cars. He somehow managed to rid that temptation for Bol Bachchan, but he recompensed the same for his subsequent films Chennai Express and Singham 2.

For the remake of Ram Lakhan, Shetty will be collaborating with Karan Johar. Karan Johar, on the other hand, is known for making family-centric movies and shoot scenes at overseas locations – two factors that contradict Shetty’s movie-making style.

One might wonder what’s too bad with Rohit Shetty directing a classic like Ram Lakhan. Well, for one, it is not his genre. Secondly, Shetty’s popularity lies in making comedy films, whereas Subhash Ghai’s Ram Lakhan though contains elements of comedy, overall, it is a revenge film.

Can Shetty pull this one off? Only the development stages of the film will tell us that.

Now we come to casting. As per rumours, Pakistani sensation Fawad Khan is likely to play Lakhan, which was originally played by Anil Kapoor. In addition, Sidharth Malhotra will play his cop brother Ram, a role that shot Jackie Shroff into limelight. The original female cast of Madhuri Dixit will be reprised by Alia Bhatt.

Ardent Bollywood lovers would have one question to ask – can these actors do justice to the characters assigned to them.

– ‘One Two Ka Four’ was a hit song back then and is still loved by the Indian audience for and in its originality. Can Fawad Khan match the steps as Anil Kapoor did back in 1989? (Besides that, accomplishing Anil Kapoor’s handlebar moustache will be a challenge, too.)

In all honesty, Rohit Shetty’s preference in making movies is totally different from what Ram Lakhan actually is. Will he be able to keep off from blowing up expensive cars in the remake or will he wittily incorporate the same in the film’s action scenes?

There are a lot of questions that need answering. No one, in the first place, would want to touch one such classic movie. But again, Bollywood has unfortunately diverted towards remaking movies than coming up with original screenplay.

However, there are several absurd ways by which movies try to keep their audience entertained. This form of entertainment usually comes in the form of stunt sequences that are literally implausible and cannot be pulled off by a layman.

Well, it is indeed a potential breaking news, with a very high expectancy of coming true, soon, really very soon!

After all, the way the latest controversy about Shahrukh Khan and musician duo Vishal-Shekhar is playing out in the media, it is no wonder then that the next time SRK decides to buy a new pair of underwear or discards his toilet paper (if he uses one in order to save water and be a good citizen!!), it will become hot news.

By now everyone knows that king of Bollywood has just ‘kicked out’ or ‘shown the door’ or ‘discarded’ Vishal-Shekhar and brought in Pritam for his next film with Rohit Shetty. Well, frankly the words used to describe the parting of ways are not respectful towards either of the parties.

Hence, they deserve more respect than being shown as some small time music guys who depend on a big brand for their survival. And mind you, their music in practically every movie has been different, edgy, and stylish and has connected well with the youth of the country.

Secondly, Shahrukh himself is a creative guy who has been around for more than two decades and has worked with different kind of filmmakers, music directors, lyricists, choreographers, etc and is not known to stoop so low to go around kicking people out of his projects for his ego trips. Even if he did find the duo not up to the mark and had some differences, he has every right to select someone else. After all, we all can agree to disagree, right?

The point is this is a creative field and not just a place to make money. In creative endeavours, it is important that one works with as many different talents as possible. The resulting chemistry of two talented minds can create some wonders which are not possible if you keep working with the same set of brains in a comfort zone! Pritam has his own way of creating music and once his creative spark meets SRK’s, something new will be created. It might or might not work, but then it is true for any creative process.

We guess all these highly talented people should be left to do their jobs with the best of their capabilities. This unnecessary politics of who kicked out and why and what will be the repercussions can only lead to gossip without having any positive outcome.

Who better than him, can do justice to this kind of a format for a game show where stunts are as real as they get, even if with precautions and safety features in place. No doubt the host’s previous host, Akshay Kumar did a fantastic job, but Rohit is equally good at making sure that contestants give their best and for audiences, it becomes a visual treat.

Going by the trailers of the show, it can be safely said that the makers have raised the bar; some really crazy stunts have been performed by some of the most interesting contestants.
