No one in the world can survive without food or water.  But there is a priest, Prahlad Jani who does not need food and water to survive. Over years he has been staying in a cave in a rainforest, in India. And on investigation it is proven that he lives without drinking a sip of water for years.

Can you imagine yourselves on a fast for say 30 days or for months? No, right! But for some, forget about a month, they cannot even fast for one day . But if we say, there’s man who has not eaten or drank a bit from years and years.

Yes, that’s true. There’s an Indian monk named Prahlad Jani, whose real name Chunriwala Mataji, claims that he has not gulped down food and water since 1940.

When asked how he is still surviving without eating or drinking, he says that Goddess Amba helps to sustain him. He led his life by the age of seven as wandering Sadhu and he is also regarded as a ‘breatharian’ who can live on a ‘spiritual life-force’.

Jani, who chooses to wear as a female devotee of Goddess Amba, was quoted saying following statement.

Three goddesses appeared to me and bade me to follow. Ma Kali, Ma Lakshmi, and Ma Saraswati. I consented, prepared myself, and asked: ‘What about my food?’ They each put a finger on my lip and said ‘You need not be concerned about food ever again’. I was 7, and from that day I stopped eating and drinking.”

He was taken for tests to determine his claims

Just like us, many thought that this is impossible and he was also put under a test. Around 30 specialists studied him and did many tests. He was always kept under observation round the clock for 15 days.

Shocking revelation

Doctors and scientists were complete baffled by the outcome of this test.After keeping him under scrutiny for some days, they concluded that he didnt eat or drink and obviously not passed any urine or stool but still he is healthy. His body didnt show  any adverse effects that we have from hunger or dehydration.

One of the doctors said that Jani’s body is different from us as it may have went though biological transformation due to medication and powerful yoga in natural environment.

Ground Breaking revelation in science.

Many say in support of him and many call him fraud, but India’s Defence Research Development Organisation believes in positive side and thought, if verified, then this will be a great breakthrough, as he can teach soldiers to survive long without foods during emergencies.

One of the doctors from DRDO was quoted saying the following statement.

“We will be able to help save human lives during natural disasters, high altitude, sea journeys and other natural and human extremities. We can educate people about the survival techniques in adverse conditions with little food and water or nothing at all”.
