Their behavioral features and characteristics continue to astonish science. The birth of Offspring or newborns in animals is mesmerizing, while few show weirdness that does not follow the common rules of nature. Some animals give birth through eggs and few have babies. But this is a unique blessing to the animal Platypus, who can give egg and milk. It may be a weird experience that veterinary science has observed.

Distinctive nature As Mammal

Platypus has a distinctive behavior as a mammal. Mammal’s common nature is to give birth to babies and feed them with milk. On other hand, it can an amphibian living in water or the avian flying high in the air they lay eggs.

In 1884, it was discovered by the Scottish scientist, William Hay Cadwell, and his team that this strange duck-billed animal does lay eggs. The strange part that made it one of the evolutions from the birds and mammals is the function of the left ovary. They possess mammary glands, but they lack the teats. Milk is released from the pores of the platypus skin.

The weird behavior of Platypus, as it gives egg and milk. It has given a new view for evolution that connects two clauses. Reproducing from the eggs the newborn is fed with the mother’s milk-secreting from the mother’s skin pores. Babies are born with teeth but it finally falls. Later they have horny plates which are used to biting and grinding down their foods.

Another amazing part of the Platypus that it is monotreme. It glows when they are exposed to a black light in green bluish color. Monotremes are one of the main parts of the mammals from the groups of mammals. It is one with the features and functions of meroblastic cleavage. The ovum does split partially and the yolk containing the embryo exchanges food with the waste as well as the nutrients with the cytoplasm.

Life of a Platypus weird as it gives egg and milk

Platypus is the Best swimmers fast and introverted, simply opposite to the dolphins. They are calm, shy so, it is not possible to see them easily. How do they look? They are also known as the duck-billed platypus. It can live both on land and water. Due to less availability, it is enlisted among endangered species seen in Southern parts of Australia.

The strange reproduction has made this one of the iconic animals of Australia. The Platypus does have similar features that are in other water animals. At the same time, being a mammal has driven a chance to show an evolution in biology. It is the animal emblem of New South Wales, a stunning creature from the origin of the parts in Australia.

Firstly seen in the European countries 1798, but it is their nature that led to controversy. It was difficult to believe and determine their dual reproductive procedure. Finding them swimming in the rivers of Australian forests of the Alps, Queensland is possible. It was in 1975, that there was a doubt of extinction, but later after years, they are found in ranges of Australia.

Dugongs are the sea animal that is similar because of the body shape and size swimming in the sea. The face structure is almost like the elephants that are distinguishable and helps in recognizing at once.

The sea cow is another name for this specific kind of fish that is one of the oldest sea animals. The length of the animal reaches a length of 11 feet and weighs about 2000 pounds. They may live alone or in groups but they can well communicate. Do not mistake Dugongs as a fast swimmer because of the size as they can move with a speed of 10 km per hour inside the water.

Interesting facts: Sea cows Dugongs

They are known as Sea cows Dugongs, the cutest animal with a structural mixture of the elephant with a small heap or tusk on the face and the tail features of the whale. They are known as sea cow because they can play on the seagrasses and uproot from the deepen sea floors. The dugongs are almost near to extinction and are one of the endangered species among the sea animals.

Once again do not mix with the size of the mammal as it is herbivorous animal. They depend on the sea plants for survival and the best part is they can pull the plants from the ground of the seawater.

The male Dugong grows a tusk as an elephant while female may develop a tusk that is definitely smaller in size comparing to the males.

Guessing the age of the sea cows is very easy. The tusks of the Dugongs have circular lines similar to the large trees. Number of the circle on the tusks defines the age exactly as the circles on the stem of the trees. Greater the circles higher is the age.

The highest spread of this unique mammal is seen in the parts of the Australian seas. Apart from it is available in almost 35 countries in different parts of the world.

Exception part of the normal swimmer is that this animal can stop it breathe for more than 10 minutes. Apart from it this huge animal can flaunt diving up to 30 meters and hit the floor of the sea easily.

Dugongs do not have good eyesight though their eyes are visible on the other side the ears are not at all visible but have a good hearing ability that guides through the dangers and obstacles inside the water.

They are calm animals similar to animals and like to stay in their own groups. Divers can find them swimming from far when come close they run away.

Dugongs kids or calves are seen riding along with their mother sitting on the back. While this mammal reproduces at an interval of 2.5 years to the gap of 7 years.

The life length of the sea cows, Dugongs are till the age of 70 years or above. They are mostly found in the areas of Bunaken and Bangka islands because of the seagrasses.

Don’t you get bugged when you constantly listen to environmentalists trying to feed you stuff that you don’t want to participate in voluntarily?

In all honesty, I would like people to focus on other important tasks at hand than trying to engage in “social causes”that are beyond our control. I mean, why would someone want to interfere with the nature?

Here is a list of certain aspects that I would prefer people not worrying about…and for good –

Worrying about Present

People always talk about living in the present and forgetting past or not thinking about future too much. Sounds fair, doesn’t it? Well, what if I told you that there is no future? You must be thinking I have gone bonkers. The way we decide that the moment we live in is present is through time and time waits for no one. The clock is always ticking. You think about capturing a moment in the present and it slips right past you. No wonder we can’t get things done on time. The bottom line is that there is no present; all you have are the near future and the recent past.

Worrying about Global Warming

Global warming is another concern for many people around the world. They worry about water, air as well as soil. The earth is getting warmer and warmer by the day, they say. Well, that’s change and it is not caused by us. That is all nature.

Worrying about Saving the Endangered Species

<img aria-describedby="caption-attachment-24470" class="size-full wp-image-24470" src="https://www.youngisthan.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/endangered-species.jpg" alt="Worrying about endangered species is a no-brainer. It’s evolution

Now how many times have we heard humans yelp about saving species that are declining with each passing day? If you add sensitivity to the issue, the discussion might seem fair and many people would join hands for the cause. However, if you think logically, it is just another attempt by humans to exhibit their controlling behaviour. Humans are trying to control nature, which is meddling with natural occurrences, and that can be dangerous. Statistically, since life began on earth, 90% of species that have existed have disappeared and humans are not responsible for their disappearance. Nature took its course; that’s what happened. Save the trees, save the tigers, save the whales – its evolution and we need to accept the change.

Save the planet – this, personally, is one of the silliest causes that humans are fighting for at the moment. We are trying to save the planet when we haven’t even learned to care for one another. Environmentalists are trying to interject into an area that is already fine. The planet has been around for four-and-a-half billion years, whereas humans have existed for a hundred thousand years, maybe two hundred thousand. During its time of existence, earth has seen some major catastrophes and it has prevailed. Do humans seriously think that a plastic bag can ruin the earth? The planet is not going anywhere people, we are!

Have you noticed the number of golf courses that we have around the world? They occupy a lot of space and for a game that no one really enjoys or cares about. Golf is an elitist game and exhibits plain arrogance of people who can spare time off their schedule to knock tiny balls around with a crooked stick. So what do we actually worry about? How about homelessness? Can these golf courses be used to build affordable houses? Sure, why not.
