Dressing Up Tricks For Small-Chested Women

Let me tell this upfront. There’s nothing wrong in being flat-chested as fuller busts are overrated in any case. But there are millions of girls out there who have inferiority complexes due to the tiny size of their twins.

Let me tell this upfront. There’s nothing wrong in being flat-chested as fuller busts are overrated in any case. But there are millions of girls out there who have inferiority complexes due to the tiny size of their twins. If you fall into that category, here are some sure shot tricks to make your bust appear fuller and firmer. Read on!

Straptless tops are your best friends:
Play off your upper body by showing off your hands and neck by opting for a straprless top, gown or sheer panelled kurtas. Since these require you to go braless or wear strapless bras, small-chested women can carry it off with elan! Those with a heavy upper body will feel uncomfortable in a top that has no support as going braless isn’t an option. Furthermore, you can use accents, beads, chunky jewellery and dazzling earrings to draw the attention away from your chest.

Curvy jackets:
The idea is to create an illusion of bigger chest by making your waist look smaller. Opt for curvy jackets in block colours and bold prints so that they snugly fit your upper body. Make sure that the jacket falls just an inch below your waist and is tight at the bottom. This way, your waist will appear waif-like, while your bust will look larger. Peplums, volume fits, balloon, turtlenecks and boat-necked jackets are perfect to show off your tiny twins. You can even button-up your jacket to create a closed look that will give more shape and size.

Show-off your midriff:
Go for crossover tops that are tied above the naval or tops made of scarves, sarongs and sheer fabrics. You never have to worry about falling out of your top and you can flaunt your back, neck and mid-riff by going braless as you don’t need much support. Make sure your top is ruffled slightly where your breasts rest, so that it looks larger and firmer. Once the attention is on your washboard abs and mid-riff, not many will be checking your twins out. Halter necks, bandana dresses and bandeau tops are your best bets!

Higher necklines:
Simple thumbrule is to opt for higher necklines with minimal exposure so that your bony chest isn’t visible much. Go for turtlenecks or high-collared shirts that have a ruffled bust so your chest looks visibly enhanced. In fact, grab a full-sleeved top with a high-neckline in solid colours and pair with cropped pants that make your waist look slimmer. Now roll up your sleeves till just above the heel of your hands. This will make your chest look fuller for sure. If you can opt for a top with ruffles or bold designs that run across the chest, you have a winner!

Padded lingerie:
Well, the final thing that can come to your rescue is a padded or pushup bra that will enhance your boobs for a gorgeous LBD, a stunning gown or even a button-down shirt. Pushups will perk up and uplift your twins, while giving them the much needed support. Padded, on the other hand, will simply create padding under your outfit to make your breasts appear larger. You can opt from mild padding to extra padding, depending on your chest size. But make sure your top is not sheer or flimsy as the padding (the lining ) can be seen through such outfits.

If you’re confident in your boyish frame and are successful and much loved by everybody, you do not need these tips to feel good about yourself. Enjoy your petite frame and soak in the glory!
