It’s not a revelation of sorts that women love the colour pink. Well, at least, some do! While most women do know the difference between hot pink and fushcia, there are others who catergorize this uber girly colour as ‘light pink’ and ‘dark pink’. We tell you the five of the most smacking shades of pink that every girl should have.

Shocking pink:
Think bright, neon and blinding, think shocking pink. It’s one of the coolest shades of pink a girl can have and she never really gets tired of it. It has an undertone of neon and magenta, hence the shocking shade. You can wear nailpaints in this colour or even have bags, shoes and belts in shocking pink. The best part is, this colour looks great on most complexions but it’s the dark-skinned beauties who can totally rock this. Try a shocking pink lipstick with an LBD to be the hottest chica in town! Fushcia:
Many get confused between hot pink and fushcia and rightly so. Both are very similar shades that look wonderful as an add-on or an individual shade. Fuschia is a combination of purple and red, hence it’s slightly less pigmented than hot pink, which is made up of red, purple, white and yellow. Go for fushcia coloured sarees, hair accessories, shoes or even evening gowns. (Pic: Bag)

Brink pink:
This is one of the most elegant hues of pink. It’s more matt and muted than the rest and looks lovely on both pale and dark-skinned women. In order to give yourself the much needed pop, go for an eyeshadow in this colour. It will look elegant as well as super hot. Brink pink also works well as a jacket over a black/white ganji. Even peplums in this shade can look dazzling. (Pic: Pair of cropped pants)

Rose:
One of the lightest shades on this list, rose pink is also one of the most popular! It looks great as winter wear, clutches and even phone covers. Rose pink is rather dainty, so it’s preferred by bridesmaids too! Every girl must own at least one piece of article in this gorgeous shade. (Pic: Summer dress)

Fandango:
It’s a shade of pink that’s halfway between purple and magenta. It may not be very bright, but it’s bold and aggressive for a hue from the pink family. Jackets, skirts, bags, hats and glares look absolutely stunning in this shade. (Pic: Lips)

Before you pick a shade of pink, make sure to test it against your skin. If it looks out of place, it’s better to skip that particular shade. These hot hues may be in trend, but you have to be comfortable in your skin to carry them off with elan!
