These 6 Quick Fixes Will Remove Scratches From Mobile Phone And Make It As Good As New

How often to you rue the fact that you had a new phone because the current one is full of scratch and scuffs? Well, worry no more as we bring six quick fix methods to help to get rid of the stain marks.

Whether it is from house keys in your pocket, or an accidental drop, our mobile phones are often the victims of scuffs and scratches. But it is often very expensive to replace an old scratchy phone with a new one; so, it might as well be wise to look for ways to get rid of all the scratches on your phone.

We have put together some quick fix solutions to ensure your phone is free from any shallow stains or scratches. But before you start the cleaning process make sure you switch off your device, remove its battery (if possible), and seal the ports of your phone in order to stop liquid damage.

1). Use Toothpaste

To cure small marks or stains on your phone, look no further than your kitchen. The idea is not to use gel-based toothpastes, but the actual toothpastes. Here’s how it works; and how you should use toothpaste to remove scratches:

  • Dab a little amount of toothpaste onto the end of a soft cloth or a cotton piece
  • Rub the cotton swab or cloth gently on the screen of your phone until you see the scratch no more
  • Thereafter, you properly clean your mobile screen to make sure there is no excess toothpaste left on the screen

2). Car Scratch Removal Creams:

There are a lot of car scratch removal creams like 3M Scratch, Turtle Wax, and Swirl Remover which can get rid of, or minimize scratches.  All you need to do is apply the cream to a soft cotton cloth and wipe gently in a swirling motion.

3). Sandpaper or Drill Grinder:

Make no mistake, grinding stubborn marks or scratches on your phone screen with a sandpaper is a drastic step, but it certainly has the ability to remove unnecessary stains from your mobile phone. It is best to use this method for smoothing out the backside of your mobile.

When you use fine sandpaper, make sure you pick the least abrasive kind and apply gently onto your mobile. And as you grind the scratches, keep a watch to make sure there is no damage on the screen.

4). Use Baking Soda:

Guess what, baking soda can work as a handy phone scratch remover. Here’s how it works:

  • Mix one part water and two part baking soda in a bowl.
  • Keep stirring until it forms a thick paste.
  • Apply the paste to a clean and soft cloth and rub gently in a circular motion on the phone’s scratch marks.
  • After this, properly wipe your phone screen with a clean, fresh and little dampened cloth to remove any excess paste.

5). Baby Powder

When you add water to baby powder you get a paste that can take out the scratches on your mobile phone. In the above step, simply put baby powder instead of baking soda.

6). Vegetable Oil

For little, hidden scratches, vegetable oil is said to work wonders, even though as a temporary solution. Just a drop of vegetable oil on top of scratches can be a quick cosmetic solution.

These are of course some of the quick fix solutions to remove phone scratches and scuffs. Trying this out will not only make your phone look good and clean, but will also save you from buying a new one.
