Well, nothing much has been revealed about the project apart from just one tiny detail…that it’s a Maneesh Sharma film. Yes, the same guy who directed films like Band Baaja Baarat, Shuddh Desi Romanc et al. Since Maneesh has already worked with Anushka in the past, chances of the babe getting first preference are much higher. She received a lot of appreciation for her Punjabi kudi act in BBB.
But then you can’t guess such things. Kat, on the other hand, has done a lot of Yash Raj films. She’s an old khiladi in the Bollywood business, so one can’t rule out the possibility that the role might easily land, at the speed of light, on her lap.
And you also never know a certain Ms Padukone might just enter the scene and walk away with the offer right from under the noses of these two pretty babes. Let’s see who wins the race and who ends up making a sulky li’l face.
