Vidya Balan wanting to ditch Dedh Ishqiya trailer launch news is hogwash!

She recently declared that she’s dying to see the promo

There was this wild rumour doing the rounds of the Bollywood circuit that Vidya Balan is upset with the Ishqiya makers as they didn’t consider her for the sequel. The story that was making headlines, till yesterday, was that the actor was invited for the trailer launch but she declined the offer claiming that she was busy. But we just discovered that there’s not an iota of truth to the story. Firstly the makers decided to ditch the conventional form of launching the trailer of their film. Instead of going the grand way of inviting the media and all that jazz, the Ishqiya guys decided to launch the promo on social networking site Facebook.

Debunking notions that she had issues with the makers of the film, Vidya recently declared that she is dying to catch a glimpse of the promo. The producer of the film Mansi Maroo said, “Vidya has been most gracious and very keen to watch the trailer and even offered to attend the trailer launch but as we are first launching the trailer on the facebook instead of the conventional launch in a theatre we have offered to hold a special trailer viewing for her at her place.”

The movie releases on Jan 10, 2014. While Madhuri will be sizzling on the screen very soon, we will have Balan whining and ranting about the side effects of her offscreen shaadi on Feb 14, 2014.

While the babe has pretty much cleared the air with her gesture that she has absolutely no hard feelings against anyone, the makers have also come up with a logical explanation. According to them it was impossible to drag Balan’s character in the sequel. It didn’t seem like an intelligent creative decision. Well, we are glad all’s well in Bollywood paradise.
