Lisa spices it up with her wild antics and Kangna balances all that madness out with her careful and well-behaved nature. Vijaylaxmi and Rani are the talk of the town; their crazy adventures are every movie buff’s topic of discussion. But the two aren’t acting together for the first time. The ladies appeared in a dud film called Rascal way back in 2011. Lisa recently revealed in an interview that they both felt like fish out of water while shooting for the dud film. And why not, you take such talented and attractive ladies, make them wear the skimpiest of clothes, treating them in the most vulgar way possible instead of utilising their potential; anybody is bound to feel suffocated.
But Kangna and Lisa finally get their due. The two seem to have some sort of karmic connection. They met on the sets of a movie that they did perhaps for the heck of it…and then they met again on the sets of another film, in which the two are breaking a leg with their mind-blowing performances.
Haydon was offered Queen when she thought her Bollywood career reached an absolute dead-end. But then arrived the opportunity to play Rani’s ally and partner-in-crime, an independent and a strong lady, with a kid and of course loads of crazy ideas in her head.
Queen wouldn’t even be half as interesting without Kangana and Lisa’s edgy touch. Perhaps, now the makers of Rascals can look behind and realise what a grave mistake they had made…
