Jhalak fever is back again with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa reloaded!

With the contestants finally revealed, one can only expect entertainment, entertainment and only entertainment this season.

Can you imagine seeing Television’s heartthrob Vivian Dsena, Sanaya Irani and Ashish Chowdhry to name a few in one frame?

Well yes it’s all happening! Jhalak is getting bigger this season with Shahid Kapoor also stepping in as one of the judge on the show.

And I can already see girls drooling over the hottest judge of all time in the history of television. Obviously one would miss seeing the Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit and ace choreographer Remo Dsouza but I am sure with the show line up it’s gonna be really big and the most happening season of Jhalak.

Based on the show contestants, host and judges, I am going to list down things you can expect from Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa this season.

Dostana of Tellywood Diva Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami

Don’t tell me you aren’t expecting this? We have seen Sanaya cheering and even dancing with Drashti in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6, now since Sanaya is participating in season 8, we all would love to see Drashti doing the same. It would surely be fun seeing these two friends again in the same frame. With Drashti a part of rival channel’s show, it might get difficult this time, but hey never say never. We don’t know what makers can come up with. Drashti had a long association with Colors and we are hoping for the sake of that we can see these beauties grooving together. What a sight that would be, don’t you think so?

Some Rapping Raftaar style!

You can’t just expect him to dance on the show. I am definitely expecting more than dancing from this rapper. I am sure he has to cope up with so many requests on the show and it won’t be just dancing. So make your rap list ready Mr Rapper!

Clash of the Titans

If you see most popular faces are in Jhalak this season. There is TV superstar Vivian Dsena at one side and you also have Most popular TV actress Sanaya Irani competing for the trophy this season. Then there is also Ashish Chowdhry who has a huge fan following today especially his Twamily. Well I can’t even imagine what this season gonna be like with so many popular faces competing in this season. Fans gonna have a tough time voting for their favourites.

Unlimited fun

With Funny man Manish Paul as the host, we can’t expect anything other than total madness on the show.  We will sadly miss his love for Madhuri on the show but we know the funny man has much more for us.

A new dostana!

With Shahid Kapoor making his television debut with Jhalak, there is not just some dancing we are expecting from him. We would love to see how Shahid bonds with his co judge Karan Johar on the show. It would be exciting to watch them together. Can we expect a new dostana? Only time will tell that!

Some serious dancing!

With some amazing dancers like Scarlett Wilson, Faisal Khan and also Radhika Madan who worked as a dance instructor, we can expect some serious dancing on the show. It would be nice to see these amazing dancers to win over us by their dancing talent.

What started out as an experiment in 2011 has taken new wings and this year, which is the 4^th season for the show, it is all set to entertain the loyal fans of music all year long! Yeah, you read that right! MTV brings you this marvellous piece of entertainment for an entire year which will have not only the traditional studio set-up, but also the videos of songs sung by hugely talented singers and composers from all across the country.

One must be tempted to point out that it is yet another music based show, but here is the difference. Bollywood has slowly, but surely killed all forms of alternate music so much so that traditional folk, the un-conventional music is dying out. The market for such music and artists who are the masters of their craft are finding it difficult to compete with the deep pockets of Hindi film music. Film music is definitely popular, but it fails to give space to diversity. It only makes and sells popular music instead of giving listeners some variety and deep music.

In such circumstances it is really a praiseworthy effort of groups like Coca Cola and MTV to join hands and give a platform to music which has been part of our history for centuries. To present such music to the youth of today in a form which appeals to them is a big deal considering that anything related to folk is looked down upon. Thanks to Coke Studio, people have started showing interest in soulful music.

Trust these singers and music composers to come up with the music they believe in instead of catering to demands of stars or producers for individual projects.
