<p>If women have any of these problems then they must consult a doctor as many major health complications like heart disease or diabetes arises with this disorder.</p>
<p>But women who are reading this should not fret as I have mentioned before this is just another disorder which can be cured.</p>
<p>Apart from medication, research shows that the problem can be tackled by some dietary changes.</p>
<p>Below are some foodstuffs that women should include in your diet to prevent and control PCOS.</p>
<p><strong>1.. Include foods which are loaded with Vitamin D and Vitamin B </strong>(myoinositol)</p>
<p>As per studies, myo-inosital- Vitamin B, help to regularize insulin problem. So you include fresh fruits, beans, grains, eggs, cheese and nuts which are rich in this vitamin B and D.</p>
<p><strong>2… Have a balance of carbs and proteins and also include fiber rich foods and  Low glycemic foods</strong></p>
<p>Add fruits, green veggies, beans, legumes, whole grains, fish, lean meats, nuts, and seeds should be eaten daily as they are loaded with fiber and protein.</p>
<p><strong style="line-height: 1.5;">3&#8230; Limit salt and sugar intake</strong></p>
<p>Try and minimize the usage of salt. You can season your meals with herbs, spices, and vinegar.</p>
<p><strong>4… Drink enough water or fluids</strong></p>
<p>Drinking enough water will help to combat the issue of water retention. Apart from water, you can also consider green tea and fresh juices.</p>
<p><strong>Food you should avoid if you are suffering from PCOS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Dairy based foods</li>
<li>Processed or Gluten based foods</li>
<li>Sugar based foods</li>
<li>Soy products</li>
<li>Bad or saturated fats</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Apart from the dietary changes, one should also focus on</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Weight loss of 5-10% if overweight</li>
<li>Should consider eating frequent meals to control blood sugar level and at least</li>
<li>One should manage stress levels</li>
<li>Daily few minutes of moderate physical activity is a must.</li>
</ul>
<p>This seems daunting but you don&#8217;t have to worry much, simply follow this along with the treatments given by your doctor.</p>
