<p>It is a best thing to do when you wake up. All you need to do is, take a deep breath, concentrate on it, and relax. All your stress and frustration will disappear into the thin air. At first, you might not be able to concentrate properly. But, that is not something that should stop you from doing it daily in life.</p>
<p>Meditation has <em>several </em>benefits. You know, it’ll reduce all your stress, you’ll be at peace, and most importantly you’ll be less worried about <em>life. </em>In short, meditation will help you appreciate your presence in this world.</p>
<p>Trust me; whenever you <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meditation" target="_blank">meditate,</a> you’ll understand your own mind a little better each day. At first, you might not be able to crack it. But, you’ve to keep trying to reach the peace level that you’re looking for. <em>Just in case </em>you’re someone who is new to meditation, then wholeheartedly you need to <em>follow </em>these tips.</p>
<p>Here we go <em>(Meditation Tips)</em> –</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Chose a quiet place</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>All you need is a quiet place to rightly start with the meditation process. What happens is when you sit in the middle of crowd, it mainly becomes impossible to concentrate. So look for a quiet place, and sit there.</p>
<p>You know, quiet place will indirectly help you get relaxed.</p>
<ol start="2">
<li><strong>Check to see how you’re feeling</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Are you feeling good enough to start with the meditation process? Are you tired? Or are you irritated? <em>Figure out </em>what’s going on in your mind. And then, start your process. Do not hurry, because 2 minutes is more than enough. Once you get comfortable, you can increase your time.</p>
<ol start="3">
<li><strong>Start counting your breaths</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Here all you need to do is, count your breath. As soon as you take in the breath, count one, then you take it out, count 2…keep going. Always remember that your <em>focus </em>should be on counting breaths.</p>
<p>So, try not to shift your attention anywhere else.</p>
<ol start="4">
<li><strong>Accept your mistake</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>At first, you might do it wrong. But, it’s all OK. There’s no need to lose confidence because you were not able to do it. Just accept it, and try hard to make it better. There are many who give up once they go wrong.</p>
<p>But you don’t have to do it.</p>
<ol start="5">
<li><strong>Learn how your mind works</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>It’s obvious that you might not be able to do it at <em>first go. </em>But, later on, as you get the habit of doing meditation, you’ll be able to concentrate more and more into understand how your own mind works.</p>
<p>So pay attention towards it.</p>
<ol start="6">
<li><strong>Open your eyes slowly</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Once you’re done with the meditation, open your eyes slowly. You’ll feel extremely good, and you’ll be relaxed as well. As soon as you open your eyes, appreciate the beauty around you.</p>

<p>If yes, then these meditation types will certainly help you, just like it helped ‘em to reduce their mental stress.</p>
<p>You know what; I personally feel that meditation is incomparable. It not only helps you with reducing all your mental stress, but it also gives you an absolute peace. Now, meditation is mostly done by many people. You might not know about this, but there are many techniques involved in meditation.</p>
<p>Now, you might think like- which technique is good for me?</p>
<p>To give you an answer, here are the types of meditation techniques and you must try ‘em all to find the perfect and suitable one for you. 😉</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Focused Meditation</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>FOCUS – This is certainly a very hard thing to do in meditation. Focus is absolutely needed a lot. We all know that when we meditate, our mind keeps thinking about several other things i.e. our mind is not focused on one particular thing. Yes, I mainly think about what I’ll do when the meditation is done etc, but in the midst of all this, I fail to meditate correctly. I’m sure it must be a problem with you as well.</p>
<p>So, to deal with it, when you sit and try this focused meditation- Think about one particular thing only. I mean, there are various sounds around you, so just focus hard on one of it continuously till you’re done. Trust me; it’ll work.</p>
<ol start="2">
<li><strong>Zen Meditation</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>This meditation is quite popular and is regularly practiced in Japan. In order to do this meditation, you can be seated down as well as you can do it on a chair as well. So, suppose you’re seated on a chair, sit straight, and keep your eyes down. Now, focus on the breath that is going in and out through the nose. The best thing is keep counting the breaths and if you miss it, then start all over again.</p>
<ol start="3">
<li><strong>Metta Meditation</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Metta is a word that means good will and Kindness. In this meditation technique, you learn self-acceptance and you tend to become more positive with your thoughts and you start appreciating and loving yourself more than ever.</p>
<p>To practice this meditation, sit straight with your eyes closed and in your mind, start thinking about yourself and then your friends and family, and think positive about everything. As in, wish something positive for them and hold love towards them in the whole process. By doing this continuously, you’ll start walking on the same track and you’ll feel complete positiveness.</p>
<ol start="4">
<li><strong>Mantra Meditation</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Now, I’ve met people who really don’t feel comfortable while practicing this meditation, but I’ve also met people who love this technique. So, you know you can try it.</p>
<p>In this meditation, you’ve to sit straight with eyes closed and repeat a mantra softly. And, at that same time; you also have to focus on your breathing process.</p>
<ol start="5">
<li><strong>Third Eye Meditation</strong></li>
</ol>
<p>Third eye meditation is a universal yoga meditation and people mostly prefer doing it. Also, it is considered as one of the top and a best one and people are extremely comfortable with this technique. So, you can try this one to find out your comfortability as well.</p>
<p>You need to sit straight with your eyes closed, and pay proper attention on the spot between your eyebrows. This technique will put your mind in a silent zone and you’ll be more able to focus on your on-going thoughts deeply.</p>
