Avika Gor’s started her career way back when she was just 12 year old in the serial called ‘Rajkumar Arryan’ and now she is a household name.

She acted in many other television soap operas like Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Chalti ka Naam Gaddi, Karam Apna Apna etc.

Apart from television and advertisements , she has experienced Bollywood as well as regional entertainment industry, which only few people grab such opportunities.

Today we thought of having a look at her remarkable journey and how she has evolved :

1… Her big break : Balika Vadhu on Colors

This show on social cause of child marriage and  role of Anandi became popular over night. Avika got lot of recognition and accolades for performing impeccably. Many touted that the show’s success was due to Avika’s stupendous performance.

2… Bollywood entry as a child artist

She had done Bollywood movies as well. She acted in movies like Paathshala, Tezz and Morning Walk.  She was also seen in reality shows like Jhalak Diklaja as well where she showcased her dancing skills as well. It will be no suprise to see her in Bollywood movie soon as a protagonist.

3… Appreciation for her role in Sasural Simar ka

She surprised audience by acting as elderly bahu called ‘Roli’ Sasural Simar ka. She was bestowed with lot of awards for her portrayal of this role.

4… Great work in Tollywood

She entered Tollywood industry Uyyala Jampala and since then there was no looking back. Later on she went on to do many Telugu   and Kannada like Thanu Nenu, Care of Footpath 2, Cinema Choopistha Mava to name a few.

5… Recently donned the hat of Assistant Director

Avika worked as an assistant director for a short film called Ankahee Baatein. In one of the interviews, she had revealed that she will pursue mass communications as well as would like to study film making as well.
