Just like eating, drinking and sleeping essential for us to survive.

Sex is necessary too. It might not kill us if we don’t get it, but it will definitely deprive us of one of the most fulfilling and wholesome experiences of life.

Sex is a basic emotion that even animals have. It’s the art of progeny that brings to world offspring.

From the time of the cavemen to today’s fast paced generation, sex is the only common factor that binds humanity together. Is it any wonder that it’s important? For a long time, men were infamous for being the more sexually active of the genders as it was said that they thought of procreation every seven seconds. That may or may not be true, but what’s absolutely bang on is that men and even women can’t live without sex. It’s a primary feeling, a nourishing feeling, a warm sense of being that everybody loves and enjoys. If it were so wrong and sinful, there would have been some other form of procreation, right?

Did we mention the health benefits yet? It’s the sure shot form of burning calories and getting your tummy in shape. This act also release a number of hormones that are extremely good for your heart and blood pressure.

While sex-addiction is wrong, as anything that crosses its limits is dangerous, having intimate relations with a trusted partner is necessary. In fact, the sexual release one gets can actually help him/her improve his work and lifestyle. Because when you’re satisfied, you tend to perform better at the workplace and in their chosen fields. Psychologically, making love is a form of acceptance, appreciation and love.

When two people indulge in something as intimate as sex, the dynamics of weaker-stronger personality disappears and both become equal. It makes them a part of the social circle and their mind feels more nurtured than their bodies.

It’s a natural expression of love and lust, as we all know. But sex is also an emotional need. Probably that’s why we end up making love when we are emotionally vulnerable or disturbed. It’s also why we end up in bed when we are too drunk, upset or happy. These extreme emotions make us want to ‘celebrate’ life by merging with another in the most beautiful possible way. Whether the sex is an extension of love or lust, it has the power to make you feel important. Imagine the heady power of being somebody’s source of immense happiness?

Isn’t that one of the best feelings in the world? It sure is.

But when you’re indulging in it, make sure you’re using proper protection and are aware of the medical histories of your partner(s). Sex is definitely important, but if you’re a minor, you should wait till you’re 18 to enjoy it as you will get into trouble. Despite the importance and amazing benefits of having sex, tweens should refrain from doing so as they do not have complete knowledge about it.

Do read up on the net, read books on it and discuss with your friends and family before going ahead and doing it.

And there’s no harm in waiting for a couple of years because you’re going to be romping in the sack for the rest of your life!
