5 World Leaders, Who Can Change Our Lives! Is An Indian Leader Among Them?

World has become a very small place thanks to increased global co-operation in every sphere of life due to technological advancements.

While good things are happening all across the world, there are definitely some areas of concern as well in regards to terrorism, wars and global warming.

In this challenging environment, there are a few world leaders who can directly or indirectly make an impact on our lives with their actions.

Let’s have a look at these 5 World Leaders, who will change our lives:

5) Angela Merkel (Germany’s Prime Minister)

She is a strong lady and knows her power as well. She has been instrumental in helping Europe tide over the Euro crisis due to Greece’s meltdown. Now, she is at the forefront of leaders trying to handle the humanitarian migrant crisis from Syria and other countries impacted by IS warfare. Her positive actions will not only impact Europe and Middle-Eastern nations, but also India as it would make our neighbourhood a relatively calmer and peaceful place so that we can focus on our growth.

4) Xi Jinping (China’s President)

China’s growth might be slowing down and is being rocked by too many corruption scandals, but no can write it off as yet. One of the reasons why Xi Jinping is a heavy-weight is because of the revolutionary changes he is bringing in the way China as a country functions. Attacking corruption, ensuring the country becomes consumer-oriented rather than export-house of the world and trying to bring in more transparency are some of his biggest achievements while at the same time his muscle-flexing attitude to make China a regional power is giving India sleepless nights. China’s rise or fall will impact us in a big way for sure!

3) Vladimir Putin (Russia’s President)

He is the world’s number one enemy these days, who is charting his own course when it comes to global affairs and is considered to be a dictator in his own country, but no one can deny his power as a ruler who is trying to re-shape the world as per his own vision. Even though his actions in Ukraine are debatable, his reach and the potential that Russia offers cannot be undermined as far as economic co-operation and defence ties are concerned. After all, India and Russia have the longest possible ties since India’s independence.

2) Barack Obama (America’s President)

He might have got only about a year or so in office, but he can still make a difference. Whether it is about pushing India’s case in United Nation’s permanent candidature list, or promoting ties between the two countries as far as economic and defence ties are concerned, he is making all possible efforts. Of course, it is beneficial for the US economy as well, but then India’s billion plus population is important for a country that is going through painful periods of growth and losing power as a global cop!

And finally….

1) Narendra Modi (India’s Prime Minister)

For all his critics and those who oppose him for good or bad, this man is here to stay and will definitely make an impact. One, because he can! Secondly, he has arrived on the world stage when conditions are ripe for an era of Indian growth. With China slowing down and America barely scratching the surface of growth, India with its huge population and consumer class offers the hope to millions across the world for a peaceful economic growth. Mr. Modi realises that and is making every possible move to attract big businesses to India. Big investments mean big money for the local population and have a potential for the long-term growth of the economy.

Thanks to these leaders, world will look like a different place in a few years from now. Let’s hope better sense prevails and all these powerful leaders make a positive impact rather than pushing us in a war that nobody wants!
