Spending Money Is An Art! Learn Through These 8 Steps!

The monthly pay check gets over before we even enjoy the sight of it in our bank accounts, right?

Well, earning money is extremely difficult, as we all know, but to spend it is easier than breathing! However, spending money is an art and if you become the master of this art, rest assured that you will never be short of money! In fact, you can use that money to make more money!

Let me share with you these 8 steps to think about before you loosen up your wallet!

1) Spend On Experiences

Of course you got to buy latest gadgets, a new vehicle, flashy clothes, but how long will they last and for how long will you remember them? How about spending on a picnic with family, or a good short, but fun-filled vacation? These memories will last forever and will be worth more than the money spent on creating them!

2) Special Treats

It is better to wait for special moments and then indulge rather than doing it on a regular basis and losing the charm of it. For example, you can eat a chocolate pastry every day, but if you have it every weekend, the fun of having it will get double!

3) Spend On Time

We keep running to earn money and when we halt and take a look around, we find that time has flown by and even money can’t buy us those lost moments. Better to assign unwanted and boring tasks to people around you if that can buy time for yourself and your happiness.

4) Spend On Planning

What is the fun in doing whatever you want to do at that point of time only? Delayed gratification always brings more pleasure. Carefully planning a vacation has its own charms compared to actual vacation!

5) Find The Need

Don’t just spend because you have it or you feel like it? Whenever there is an urge to spend, think whether you actually need the stuff you’re going to buy or is it just a temporary desire to let go of your hard-earned cash?

6) Financial Goals

We all have budgets and long term financial planning, but it all goes for a toss by the spending spree we involve ourselves in for no rhyme or reason. Do think of next big financial goal around the corner and whether your reckless spending will keep you away from a prized possession or a worthy moment!

7) Affordability

Are you one of those who rely on credit cards? In that case, learn to use them wisely so that you don’t end up scrambling for cash when the payment becomes due on your card or else risk paying monumental amount of interest on your purchases! Better to spend when you have enough in your pocket rather than stretching yourself for a few moments of fun and long hard times of misery!

8) Spend On Others

True happiness is not in money, but on doing things with and for others! Helping someone needy with their education or someone who needs money for medical care will be far more fulfilling than having a few cold coffees on a daily basis over an idle session of gossiping!

If you spend wisely, you can save some money that can always come handy to you in times of need. Or you can always invest part of those savings to make money out of them!

Think deep, spend carefully!
