You can strike off another name from the ‘most eligible bachelors of India’ list as India’s famous cricketer Irfan Pathan is now hitched to beautiful lady, Safa Baig.
The wedding ceremony in Mecca on Thursday was a low key affair.
Only close family and friends were present during the Nikah. As per reports, Irfan may throw grand reception during March in Laxmi Vilas Palace.
21 year old Safa, who was a model by profession and now works for a PR firm in Jeddah, reportedly met Irfan few years ago in Dubai and since then they were in relationship.
“Irfan and Safa met in Dubai about two years ago and later came close. Safa even visited Vadodara to meet Irfan’s family. The duo got engaged about three months ago following which the wedding date was fixed,” said a source to one of the publications.

After the wedding occasion, the Pathan family hosted lavish dinner in Trident Jeddah.
Some of the fans reached his wedding ceremony venue and Irfan was all smiles and was found happily posing with them.
