Art Of Living’s Humongous ‘World Culture Festival’ To Be Held In New Delhi Soon

Art of Living will soon celebrate their 35 years of service to humanity, spirituality, and human values to over 370 million people across 155 countries by holding one of a kind huge World Culture Festival in New Delhi.

This event is unique as it is believed to be largest multicultural and multi-faith as gathering will witness over 3.5 million people and much more will connect the celebrations over online medium.

What will be there in the event?

The festival’s major aim is to foster deeper understanding between people of different faiths, nationalities, and backgrounds.

From showcasing rich cultural traditions of dance to music and art,  many such cultural performances and a visual extravaganza are lined up for the fest.

What are the major aspects of the event?

It is said that about 36,000 artists will perform on a stage built over 7 acres in the three-day mega event. The venue itself is spread over an area of 1000 acres. The Festival will also host a Global leadership Forum as well and an Interfaith Meet.

The Global Leadership Forum, co-hosted by the World Forum of Ethics in Business and The Art of Living Foundation in New Delhi on the 12th and 13th  March 2016. Senior leaders from business, government, politics,  science, NGOs, faith-based organizations, sports, academia, and media to reflect on the paradigms of leadership needed to maneuver the world of today.

The event will be inaugurated by Hon’ble PM Modi and His Excellence, President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, will deliver the valedictory speech.

Dignitaries to attend? 

Some of the national and international dignitaries, statesmen and heads of state slated to participate at the Global Leadership Forum being held under the aegis of the World Culture Festival.

Mr.Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr.Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance, Mr.Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, India,   Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, India, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, India. Ms. Naheed Farid, Member of Parliament, Afghanistan, among others.

Highlights of the festival?

  • Over 35,973 artists are expected to perform at the World Culture Festival.
  • World’s largest Peace meditation- This will be the first time in the world that 3.5 million people will meditate for world peace on all three days at one physical location. Millions will also participate virtually
  • The Grand Musical Symphony with 40 instruments being played simultaneously by over 8000 musicians.
