After the thrashing they received at the hands of the English, losing series 1-3, MS Dhoni’s men are up for a challenge now in the upcoming ODIs. The 2011 World Cup champions need a ‘miracle’ or some superpower strength to revive their numero uno status in the cricketing world.

But in real life, the one man who can match him (on the cricket field) is our Delhi puttar, Virat Kohli. The vice-captain is known to be amongst the fastest runners on the field and can easily outdo the opposition.

Ishant Sharma – Giant Man
Standing at 6 feet plus, Ishant Sharma was one of the star bowlers for the Indian team. The lanky bowler performed well, using the height and pace to deceive the batsman at ease. If Ishant could relate to one comic character, that would be the ‘Giant Man’. One of the largest comic characters around, this superhero is one unlikely to fall!

Ravindra Jadeja – Captain Marvel
His spin bowling and blistering batting always blows away the opposition team but Ravindra Jadeja is still a child at heart! The left-arm spinner was amidst a controversy involving James Anderson of which both the men were fined by the ICC. The same can be said of DC comic hero, Captain Marvel, who is a child but turns into a superhero when called into action. Even having super human strength, Captain Marvel behaves childishly and makes silly mistakes.
