This is an
utterly ridiculous post. Are you seriously basing your article based on his
veg-fooding and his injuries, or some player playing at his place and scoring runs?
Then, I am sorry, but, you have not understood what Cricket is and definitely
not understood who Sachin is.

Sachin is
someone, for who young hearts have wept, he is someone, who has given us, shares
of Joy and definitely sorrows. There was a time, when Cricket in India meant
Sachin. There were face cut-outs of Sachin at every shop in a fair, even in the
remotest streets of India.

He is one, who
took the next flight to England to be with Indian team, after losing his
father. He is one, who single handedly took India past the virtual semi-final
and final against Australia at Sharjhah. He is the one, who bowled a maiden
over in the finals of the Hero Cup in 92 to lift the trophy. He was the one,
who came out with folded hands to beg to the crowd of Eden gardens to calm
down, in 1996 against Sri Lanka.

These are a few occasions,
and there are many more, which I don’t remember now…but he deserves respect.

He can love fish,
he can have tennis elbows and even someday, there will be a player scoring more
centuries and runs than him. But, trust me, that day even, Sachin will remain
Sachin and no one can replace him. If Cricket is what it is today, Sachin has
done something worth being grateful of and not this.
