Know About Yamaha’s New BS-IV Compliant Bikes and Scooter Range

Yamaha is a well-known name in the Indian automobile market and many people allege their brand loyalty to it because of the cutting-edge designs and durability. Yamaha offers a range of vehicles that are affordable and easy to run in most of Indian bumpy roads. When it comes to automobile, India has trusted the Japanese companies like Yamaha in blindfolds and this one excels at producing marine products such as boats and outboard motors and other motorized products too.

Recently, as per the latest emission norms a ban levied by the Supreme Court on sale and registration of vehicles compliant to BSIII standards, so manufacturers are gearing up for launching a new range which promises lesser fumes than the previous. Honda Activa 125:

It has so far been one of the best sellers in Yamaha range with more than 6 lakh customers in tow. It was the first to be launched in the new BS-IV compliant range with the BS-IV engine. The price is 56,954 Rupees and it is powered by a 125 cc engine that produces 8.52 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.544 rpm coupled with a CVT unit.

TVS Jupiter:

The engine was an updated version of BS-IV compliant. It is priced at 49,666 with a 109.7 cc single-cylindrical engine that produces 8hp at 7,500 rpm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Suzuki Access 125:

The price is 54,302 RS for the drum brake version. Engine is 125 cc single-cylindrical that is tuned to 8.58 bhp and tailored with an automatic transmission.

Hero Splendor Pro:

It was trusted for years by the daily commuters. The lightweight motorcycle comes with an air-cooled 97.2 cc 4 stroke, single cylindrical engine.

Bajaj Pulsar 150:

It was launched in February, 17 with a BS-IV Compliant engine that is 149 cc single-cylindrical developing 13.5 hp at 8,000rpm and peak torque of 13.4 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

Honda CB Unicorn 160:

This bike is powered by 162.71cc air-cooled, single-cylindrical engine which develops 13.8 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque by the unique five-speed transmission.

Yamaha FZ25:

It the fresh offering from Yamaha which is hailed by the customers and definitely brought luck to the Japanese brand. It is equipped with BS IV Compliant engine which is 249cc air-cooled, four-stroke engine that produces 20.6 bhp and 20Nm of torque. It is lightweight which weighs around 148 kgs of kerb weight.

KTM Duke 390:

The price for the same is 2.25 lakh. It was launched on 24th February, 17 with an updated engine. It comes equipped with a BS-IV Compliant 373.2 cc single-cylinder, 4 stroke engine that produces 43.5 hp power and 37 Nm of torque. It is attuned with a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch and Ride-By-Wire technology.

These are the most coveted models of Yama BS-IV Compliant range this season.
