Apple’s CEO Tim Cook was in India for a business cum leisure trip to expand Apple’s business in one of the largest smart phone user countries.
His maiden multi city visit to India included meetings with Bollywood stars,engineers, corporate bigwigs and politicians and some sight seeing.
Major official work included the inauguration of Apple’s new office in Hyderabad and meet up with Telagana’s CM and other businessmen for new developments. He also announced that soon India will have an app development and design centre of Apple Inc.

1… On the very first day of his trip, he visited iconic Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai.
2… He concluded his first day with a Bollywood party which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. It was attended by who’s who of Hindi film fraternity. Khan uploaded the pic and expressed that Mr. Cook is a “rockstar.”
3… Cook intended to meet the Badshah of Bollywood and King Khan too invited him at his home for a party.
4… Madhuri Dixit also attended the dinner bash with husband Dr. Sriram Madhav Nene.
5… Indian tennis star Sania Mirza took to Twitter to post the below picture of her and Mr. Cook. She also thanked King Khan for being such a “good host.”
6… Oscar winning music maestro A. R. Rahman too was all glee as he met 55 year old Cook at the party.
7… As per reports, Cook did not want to “skip Bollywood on his first visit to India”. He visited Mehboob studio and met movie maker Mahesh Bhatt and other actors from his upcoming movie Raaz Reboot.
8..On the second day of his visit, Cook attended Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh.
9… Tim Cook met PM Narendra Modi during his final leg of the trip to discuss about the opening of Apple stores in the country.
