Deepika Padukone is stealing hearts across the nation in lust-worthy lehengas in ‘Ram-Leela’.The epic love saga sees padukone as a ‘gaon ki chori’ who wears a lot of ethnic outfits in a kaleidoscope of colours. Accessorised with rustic jewellery, bindi and kamarbandh, she sure looks hot. We give you a lowdown on her lehengas (the costumes have been designed by Anju Modi).
In the first look poster of the movie, the diva wears a green and maroon lehenga with a velvety mid-sleeved blouse. The vibrant grass green looks beautiful with the rich red top and the single knot on the waist looks sexy too!
In a white and red dual-shade lehenga choli, Deepika is at her sexiest best in the song ‘Lahu Muh Lag Gaya’. With statement jhumkas, low-cut choli and a neat bun, her look is definitely on the list of brides-to-be!
Bright red lehenga
In the ‘Nagada Dhol’ song, she sports a feisty red lehenga, offset by a cream mid-sleeved blouse. With intricate details on the waist and body of the lehenga, the look is perfect for this festive season. Her hair is left open in loose waves and her jewellery is kept minimum.
Mustard yellow lehenga
We don’t have a full length picture of this look yet, but from what we can see...we are loving the mustard on Deepika’s Indian complexion. Both the blouse and lower are in the same colour with a tinge of red thrown in on the blouse, to add a bit of pop to the look. Love it!
For meeting her lover on the sly, Leela wears a simple white skirt with a matching top that have silver and gold detailing on them. Except for a pair of white danglers and her nath, she goes zero on the accessories. Love the simplicity of this look. You?
Red bandhini lehenga
In a bandhini work lehenga, Deepika is a vision in red for sure. With a riot of colours splashed around, it’s the perfect look for Diwali. We also like her classy bun and dotted tattoo. You go, girl!
Black and pink lehenga
In a peppy black lower and pink-green blouse with a pink dupatta tied to her waist, Deepika looks ravishing. The arm of her 3/4th-sleeved blouse is peppered with threaded designs of elephants and flowers. Very rustic and chick. We love the sea green bust too!
