#WBAMUN: The Red Devils Ready To Peg Back Into The EPL Race As West Brom Test Awaits

With no Champions League action to sought out with, former champions Manchester United will be kept busy with the EPL action as they travel to the Hawthorns to face an in-form West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester United come into this game with a good run with the likes of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria in top form as well as Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie hitting top gear. But even as the Red Devils may go into this game as favourites, West Bromwich Albion are no pushovers!

The Baggies who started this season on a shaky note, have pegged back into the EPL reckoning with some decent wins that saw them climb the table impressively, raking up three wins in their last four games played. But that can also be said of the LVG’s Manchester United, are doing a good job as well.

Manchester United though, would have to be aware of West Brom’s attacking threat Saido Berahino who has been instrumental in keeping the Baggies’ good run going. Manchester United fans won’t forget the sight of Berahino who had scored at Old Trafford last year, handing the Red Devils’ first defeat at the fortress.

But it’s a new season and a new manager as Louis Van Gaal looks to scalp three crucial points against a defiant West Bromwich team managed by Alan Irvine. If the Red Devils do snatch a win, this could mean a first away win the former Dutch coach, who has so far travelled to Sunderland, MK Dons, Burnley and, most recently, Leicester without success.

And for those thinking that Manchester United could have it easy, here’s the bad part! Alan Irvine’s side have only lost once in their five home fixtures. The Baggies have won their past two in front of their own fans, most recently beating Burnley 4-0.

Even with the Old Trafford side coming in with a bag load of attacking prowess and flair, the Baggies could prove a tough test as LVG looks to climb up in the English Premier League.

Prediction – Manchester United to nick in with a 1-0
