Well, well! What do we have here as Real Madrid’s very own superstar and UEFA Champions League medal winner, Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be ‘upset’ at the parent club.

It comes as no surprise that the Portuguese superstar is miffed due to the Las Blancos transfer movement involving Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil over the couple of seasons. Also, with piling injuries and the current poor start to the season might also get CR7 angry!

But with Manchester United’s rising stance in recruiting world class talent, their current manager Louis Van Gaal has openly stated that the Red Devils might go for the star. In a press conference he said, “When it is possible, what I said with Falcao, players like Ronaldo give a lot extra to a team, but I don’t think Real Madrid shall sell him. It’s always a discussion in the papers and I don’t think the media shall buy Ronaldo. If Ronaldo does make a sensational return to United, Van Gaal would have another option to bolster his front line.”

Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford before making a sensational 80 million euros transfer to the Bernebeu. But with the arrivals of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria, will Cristiano Ronaldo be lured into the deal? Well, we think so and the below 5 reasons state why the Portuguese star should return back to his ‘home’:

1 – The lure of the English Premier League
Cristiano Ronaldo will know that most of the La Liga stars including Diego Costa, Mesut Ozil and his former teammate, Angel Di Maria have moved on to the English Premier League. CR7 knows the EPL from within and knows the tactical plays of the 20 clubs here. Also, the EPL has a lot of fan base especially Asia which could entice Ronaldo to England.

2 – Manchester United’s array of attacking talent
Ronaldo has always been served upon by the likes of Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and now Luka Modric at Real Madrid. If the former have to move across to Old Trafford, the likes of Wayne Rooney, Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie might just allure the Portuguese forward.

3 – Top notch rivals
When Cristiano Ronaldo was here at Manchester United, it was only Arsenal and Chelsea who served as proper title rivals in the league. But time has moved on and local neighbours Manchester City and Liverpool have strengthened as well. Moreover, the lower teams have also provided competition as compared to La Liga where only Barcelona and Atletico Madrid rule the roost.

4 – For the fans
May be, CR7 owes it to the fans. The Manchester United faithful were sad to see the back of their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo and it’s time the latter paid it back to them by returning back in the ‘red jersey of MU’.

5 – Become the new ‘Barcelona’ of English football
The EPL has never been a ‘one club’ domination league. But with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Red Devils might just dominate the football scene in England as well as Europe. With managerial brain of Louis van Gaal and the attacking arsenal at disposal, the Red Devils are ready to rule.

It’s too early to say that CR7 might move over to England with Manchester United but who knows, football always amazes!
