#EngvsInd: Dear James Anderson, Keep Your Hands Off ‘Sir’ Ravindra Jadeja!

As an avid Indian cricket team fan, I would like to rectify the recent controversy surrounding yourself and Ravindra Jadeja during the Trent Bridge Test match.

Dear Jimmy Anderson,

As an avid Indian cricket team fan, I would like to rectify the recent controversy surrounding yourself and Ravindra Jadeja during the Trent Bridge Test match.

In a report submitted to the ICC, it clearly states that you abused and pushed Ravindra Jadeja on the way to the dressing room inside the pavilion during the lunch break on day two of the Nottingham Test. So in retaliation, your board (English and Wales Cricket Board) has categorically denied the accusations labelled against you.

So they go on and label a complaint against Jadeja? Really?

On what basis are these accusations foolproof?

You being a professional cricketer know that these hot tempers do fly on the field and in behest of the sport, it should remain it there. But no, your temperature reaches sky high and in turn, violates the ICC Code Of Conduct by ‘overreacting’ against our cricketer. You might be the highest wicket-taker in England, but let me recharge your brain batteries that, Ravindra Jadeja was part of the team that won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 where ‘Jaddu’ himself was adjudged the best bowler of the tourney.

He is one of the best all-rounder in international cricket today and by far one of the quickest fielders in the Indian team. His spin bowling can be unplayable at times and you’re team knows it when they toured here last year.

On your part, what has the England team achieved over the years?

5-0 drubbing in Ashes was no less that you sack one of the most notable names in the side – Kevin Pietersen. Poor form continuee as Sri Lanka came and robbed away the glory of regaining some pride. The likes of Jonathan Trott and Graeme Swann have disappeared in thin air and this young English side looks palpable to say the least. What more, on to your current lot, your team-mate Gary Ballance appeared in a pub on Wednesday night that brought ashamedness to the England cricket team.

In the past you may have drubbed us 4-0 and beaten 2-1 on Indian soil, but it’s time for some retribution. We won’t let bygones be bygones as India knows how to thwart out the blazing fire – by replying on the field.

Cricket is a gentleman’s game they said so our boys will play by the rules, Mr. Anderson.

If you cannot handle, then just let us know (by giving us a series win)

 Yours Truly,

The Hardcore Jaddu Fan
